  1. I used to once want to be an IT project manager, now I like helping to fix people's bad backs and achy legs. My advice would be just keep looking, but like any relationship, don't be too blinkered and be open to job opportunities which are a bit different from the norm and may not tick all the boxes at first, but may well do further down the line! Good luck!
  2. I'm good ta, studying away for my Sports Massage quals. How you doin? What you and your brother do??? Intriguing...
  3. Qualify in sports massage Develop my business Sort my lovelife out Enjoy myself!
  4. I think 2011 was the most eventful year I've known so far in terms of world events: Christchurch earthquakes Japanese quake and tsunami Tunisia Egypt Libya Bin Laden Summer riots Royal wedding
  5. One word... gulag! You only get the basics and no booze or fags and if you want anything more than the basic food and sustenance, you work for it!
  6. Jenkins?? the operatic warbler??
  7. I've already started working for myself on top of a 9-5, got my own massage therapy business, which will one day after a lot of qualifications and training become and sports therapy business. Yep, it is tough starting out at first, so I would advise work out what it is you want to do, find a good accountant and don't try to do too much at once.
  8. Yep, Dinner Date in April/May time. Only for 30 secs and yes, it was cringeworthy!
  9. My parents do, I provide the entertainment when I visit! Here's the new addition, Jelli: Jelli And the incumbent feline, Buster: Buster

Still love my black SKagen with a blue face - so light and smart!
  12. The father wasn't the ex-copper, the ex-copper was a different caller in, who also said the big man was in the wrong.
  13. The lad's dad was on Jeremy Vine as was an ex-copper. I was a student many moons ago and even if I had done an all nighter then done an exam, I would be tired but not abusive to the conducter! And if I behaved like he did, I'd expect a bit of a pasting, and my parent's would probably shake the hand of who did it!
  14. This was on Jeremy Vine's show today - surprised how many people defended the young lad!
  15. Or you if you fancy a bit further afield, then there's a few of us in Manchester! I'd be up for a bit of indoor go-karting! Being near Liverpool, you are pretty well placed for the ferries to the Isle of Man - whole world of petrol-headed fun over there!
  16. Simple solution, be law abiding and you're fine... break the law (including the fare-dodging little scrote) then expect society to come down on you like a ton of bricks!
  17. Been having a think today and these cars would top my list of the ugliest, crappiest most pointless cars on the road at the moment, and that I would never, EVER buy! Feel free to add to list... Ford Fusion Golf Plus Vauxhall Agila Suzuki Wagon R City Rover
  18. We have new kitten too who can leap like a Cerval and is like lightning! Think I will be cat herding mostly this Christmas!
  19. Too cluttered - please bring back the old site!!
  20. Personally, I think William got the better out of the two! But Pippa has got a cracking bum!
  21. Me, civil servant, massage therapist and trainee sports massage therapist! Quite a mix!
  22. I'll get some pics of Buster (15 yr old moggy and more like my kid bro) and also the new one that my parents are looking after after it found them an a bit of a state (ticks, fleas etc, her not my parents!). She is a 6 month old black and white like Buster, and he isn't impressed by having some nubile female company (at his age, I'd be bloody ecstatic!), so it's a bit of a Mexican standoff, mutual grumbling and ignoring each other. That's excatly how he arrived, he seems to have forgotten that! They're waiting to see if my sis will take her, but I Dad is quite taken by her (and she's not chipped or been reported missing), so I think they might end up keeping her (much to Mum's displeasure as she wants a break from pets when Buster eventually passes on). I think a word in Buster's ear to explain the ways of the world to him and he should enjoy having Jelli around (plenty of cuddles and play for both of them too!) is called for!
