  1. They’ve probably seen more in a single shift than you’ll see in a lifetime.
  2. That what baffles me. How fast one minute then how much fuel to save the next. Maybe he’s a schizophrenic.
  3. The Police service is in a rapid state of decay. The job isn’t the same anymore and it’s losing officers by the thousands. Thats why I jacked it in. Many believe they are providing sub standard service and simply not enough to give our country the service the tax payers deserve. So in some of your points I’m inclined to agree with you. Although there’s two sides to every story and I don’t know the other one. But don’t blame the Police. Its far deeper than that. Blame the government and the huge cuts in funding and resources. Does that give you the right to drive like the way you describe to us all? I dont think so.
  4. Its only a matter of time before you get a ban or end up in the mortuary if you continue driving at the speeds you frequently mention. Not the smartest move telling everyone what you get up to and making your vehicle identity known to all. Oh and I’ve not got any points either. But being an ex-cop I’ve issued quite a few to wreckless drivers over the years.
  5. Don’t worry shy. With the speeds you’re mentioning on here, I’m sure your time will come.
  6. I think a 2013-14 Porsche 911 991 would be the choice. The boyhood dream of owning a 911 has never gone away
  7. Just been reading the performance figures for the V60 polestar. That thing can seriously shift
  8. I’ve also read horror stories about airbag deployment under the bonnet of F types when going over speed bumps. Its a known fault and causes a couple of grands worth of damage as when they go off they push the bonnet up and knacker all the hinges and hood.
  9. Even the posh estates get targeted. By the way I’m not actually getting a new car this is just pub chat and made a good debate the other night.
  10. I’d have an RS3 but where I live would result in the front door going in at 0300 in the morning..
  11. Great choice. Proper monster. Have looked at those beasts. Yet to drive one though. Ridiculous 0-60 times
  12. You need a nice big garage for that. Can’t leave it outside over the winter
  13. What would you guys buy as a second car (fun/weekend vehicle) to sit on the drive alongside the Skoda 245. Budget allowance is £50,000. My choice would be Jag F Type 3.0
  14. Could this be a good time to sell my 245 estate? Been contemplating it for a few weeks now.
  15. Mucky 245 at Caernarfon castle after a weeks family holiday in Wales.
  16. OMG 2 LOW in Wales. Parked like a tool as well.
  17. Hi folks Coolant needs a top up on my 2018 VRS 245 petrol estate. Someone at work mentioned a G13 spec product. That doesn’t mean a lot to me. Can anyone clarify what exactly G13 means and where the best place is to get it from? Seen some 1.5 litre top up bottles on eBay. Wanted to check with the forum experts before I order. cheers
  18. It must work when there are awesome beasts like this driving up and down our streets. I took this last year in my local shopping arcades. Certainly a crowd puller. Think it must have been the souped up deluxe version
  19. Which numpty decided to call them a spoiler? Ironically on an aircraft a spoiler is designed to disrupt air flow and increase drag and therefore reduce airspeed.
  20. Interesting and enjoyable read. I think you’ll find the build quality of a Peugeot much more of a cheaper feel than the superb. Ive had Pugs, Renaults and Citroen’s over the years and each one has been a dog. Especially with electrical gremlins. You might just become very friendly with the service department at Peugeot. I ended up on their Christmas do!
  21. Careful mentioning Audi in here. I almost got thrown out for good this afternoon...
