Nope, No change to the feel of the clutch or flywheel. It still has abit of a knocking noise when setting away but it hasn't got any louder. I find if i give it more gas it doesnt seem too bad

Hi Guys Im going to be purchasing the Jetex Turbo back exhaust in the next couple weeks. However, Looking at the downpipe and sports cat it says its not Type Approved (E-marked)???? Well suprise suprise, I dropped the car off at the garage and they took it out. Got a phone call 3 hours later saying they couldnt hear any noise. I told them its most audible when setting off up a hill. They took the car out again and said the only sound they could hear was the fuel pump because it was "the vRS model" I'll just have to keep a check on it and if it gets worse it will be going back

having just recived my used approved warranty docs through the post, The clutch components aren't covered because they are classed as wear and tear :(

How much do darkside developments charge for the uprated Sachs one? If its not going to be replaced under warranty i'll have to shell out to get it fixed myself

My old Mk1 vRS did 35mpg to work (7 miles for me) and my new Mk2 does 33MPG. I drive like an old git where i can, just to increase the MPG. Was a little worried after collecting the car and traveling back home (90 miles away) i was only getting 36 on the motorway. Hoping a remap might push those figures up abit

I've got the same issue mate, Going in tomorrow at my local benfield dealer to let them have a look at it. Mine sounds like a knocking noise when setting off in 1st and there is some vibrations through the clutch pedal, hopefully if it needs replacing the 12 months used car warranty will cover it

Do they do a conversion kit for the 2. TFSI? I bought a Mk2 on saturday and today there is a knocking sound and get vibrations through the clutch pedal when setting off in 1st. The car came with 12 months free warranty so if it is the DMF Hopefully it will be covered.

Abit too expensive and there weren't that many Mk2's for sale round my area. Been waiting about 2 Months for a good one to come up and even then i still had to travel 90 miles to view/buy it

Hi guys After owning my Mk1 vRS for 3 years, the time has come to finally upgrade. I had to travel to Harrogate to go see the new car (really really boring drive). This was the 1st test drive of a Mk2 and i absolutely loved it. Its a 2007 model with 52000 miles on and its just had 4 new tyres, cambelt, water pump and discs and pads replaced. I was quite suprised that they dont come with a spare wheel :| Future plans are to get a milltek turbo back exhaust (Anyone had any experience of these? My other half said she would murder me if i made the car loud so im not looking for a system thats too noticeable when pootling around or at idle) CAI or something like an EVOMS and then a remap. I'll post some piccies up once i have it Cheers

Hi peeps Im looking to buy a 2009 octavia vrs. Which engine does it have, TFSI or FSI??? Or are they the same? Im getting really confused as some sites say Octavia 2.0T FSI and others have 2.0 TFSI. Also i cant seem to find much info on either engines so if anyone could provide me with a link that would be great. Thanks
