  1. Doesn't it depend on the how much the final ballon payment is?
  2. My car has done that recently, switched ignition off & on again and then okay. I'm assuming the battery was a little flat as it hasn't been driving much recently, and when it is it's cold & dark so extra strain on the electrics. I had a trickle charger on for a few days just to keep it healthy
  3. I always find the sound quality crap on spotify on my car, much better playing of the SD card
  4. My 2016 150tdi had P7s on, it was undriveable in the wet. The torque would just spin the tyres up with anything above light throttle use. Same tyres (albeit wider) on my 1.5TSi sportline do feel way better in the wet. To be on the safe side, I've got my Goodyear Ultragrip winter tyres on and especially as we had an inch or so of snow yesterday! They don't help on ice but I could at least get off my modest inclined drive
  5. ACC will slow to a stop when the car in front does, it won't detect a stationary object. Front assist has activated when I've approached a slower/slowing car (ie it's turning left into a junction) and shown the warning / alarmed but never had to stop the car. I don't think it can stop you crashing but should lessen the impact! The systems use a mix of radar & cameras to "see" stuff - they don't work very well in falling snow (not that you should use ACC in snow anyway) From the manual: Emergency braking at low speed If there is a risk of collision in a vehicle speed range of about 5 km/h to 45 km/h, the system triggers an automatic braking. With automatic braking, the warning light appears in the display. Advance warning If the system detects a risk of collision, the warning light appears on the display and an audible signal is emitted. The pre-warning display can occur in the following situations. ▶ If there is a risk of collision with a moving obstacle in a speed range of approximately 30 km/h to 210 km/h. ▶ If there is a risk of collision with a stationary obstacle in a speed range of approximately 30 km/h to 80 km/h. With a warning the brake pedal must be pressed or the moving obstacle is to be avoided! Immediate warning and automatic braking - a moving obstacle If the driver does not react to the advance warning when in danger of a collision with a moving obstacle, the system briefly applies the brake automatically via an active brake intervention to draw attention to the potential danger of a collision again. If the driver does not respond to acute warning, the system begins to automatically brake the vehicle. Automatic braking - a stationary obstacle If the driver does not respond to the advance warning of the risk of a collision with a stationary obstacle in a speed range of approximately 30 km/h to 60 km/h, the system initiates automatic braking. Information on automatic braking If an automatic brake intervention is triggered by the system, the pressure in the brake system increases and the brake pedal cannot be operated with the normal pedal stroke. The automatic braking interventions can be cancelled by pressing the accelerator pedal or by means of a steering intervention. Brake assist If the driver brakes inadequate with an impending collision, the system automatically increases braking force. The braking assistance only occurs as long as the brake pedal is being firmly pressed down.
  6. I had a 2016 150 TDi dsg, new in June of that year. Thankfully no adblue
  7. I suppose you never really notice a Skoda doing it. My Porsche 718 has a charge management system. The first time I saw it, I thought the alternator was broken as the battery voltage just kept dropping while I was cruising down a motorway. It then started to rain, so lights & wipers on, battery voltage shot back up to 14ish
  8. I used this company for mine https://www.mrwinterwheels.co.uk/skoda-winter-wheels/superb-2015/ I got a set of 16" steels with a good quality winter tyre - Goodyear I think? Obviously a 16" wheel is no good for you but they may have a bigger alternative
  9. A friend has a BMW X3 hybrid- he has done lots of research into the correct settings. Ideally, you want the electric power for acceleration/speeding up and ICE unit for cruising.
  10. yes, not as easy as it should be. When you go to the address entry page, there is a button for P.code?
  11. Is it switching off or the screen just going off. Most dashcam problems are due to the memory card, format the card and try again. Check the camera settings for the screen saver
  12. Can you get an update via the Skoda update portal using the VIN number? I think there have been a few links on this forum
  13. Search for the thread about fitting. Lots of info & pictures.
  14. you'll need a little man with a laptop and the software to reset it
  15. Cars sold in Europe have a flat beam pattern, so don't need to be adjusted. My Porsche 718 has the low power xenons and they can't be adjusted for left or right traffic
  16. It always seemed to happen when the phone lost signal, then bluetooth wouldn't reconnect. I had to switch ignition off and on again to reconnect
  17. my 2016 car used to loose connection with my Iphones (happened with both private & work phones) Haven't been on long enough journeys with my 2019 Sportline to see if the same happens
  18. DPF regen, my 2016 2.0TDi used to run the fan like that. Battery could be on the way out.
  19. I didn't have the variable floor in my car as the Travall dog guard divider won't fit with raised floor
  20. I used Autoglymm tar remover liquid, didn't fall off or cause the bumper to melt on my old car
  21. more pictures as promised @Colin170CR no issues with electric boot opening or closing
  22. It fits really well. I had the chrome one on my last Superb, again from Superskoda. Black one matches the shiny black bits on the Sportline roofrails & mirrors. Gloss black one is made from plastic, I'll take some better photos later
  23. I'd ordered a bumper protector & LED light upgrade for boot from SuperSkoda, paid with PayPal, parts here in a few days.
