  2. Well on travelling up to bonny scotland on friday for my sons wedding on friday,my phone setting on my mk6 golf stopped working ?, it had disappeared from the cluster so no phone through the bluetooth in the car, so i decided to google it and it does happen so i looked for a fix and found one and thats why im posting, the unit bluetooth is i think the same throughout the vag range so this fix will work on skoda and seat,so what i did was remove the polysterine box underneath the driver side seat in mine , and simply disconnect the black pin connector from the main body of the plastic box by just pulling back on the white clip and the connector comes right off, then reattach the block into the body and the bluetooth should now be fine

  4. Right ive the 1.6tdi engine which is the same over the whole vag range, well ive a 61 plate which is 5 years old now and has 54,000 miles on it, ive been told timing belt now needs changing even though its not done the mileage but the years, so is it really necessary or over kill? , at approx £400-£500 it seems a shame to change it

  15. Im about to bleed the brakes on my 61 plate golf tdi , however ive seen a youtube vid that shows when bleeding the brakes you bleed the clutch at the same time as it uses the same hydroscopic fluid and the bleed nipple is of course near the clutch, now i have notices when i change gear (releasing the clutch pedal) i get a squeek from the left hand side of the engine bay, this only happens if im going up a steep hill or getting away quickly i.e changing gears quicker than usual ? Could this be a bleed of the clutch is possibly required?,this is a 61 plate and never had brakes or clutch bleeded
