  1. ..and as usual, it's the wrong one...
  2. Quite probably. They had their chance for modernisation with John Major, who despite being "grey" changed a lot of things on the quiet and shows more socialist tendancies than Phoney Blair to boot. But he challenged the establishment, which was his undoing. What the tories need to do of course is just GROW UP!
  3. Yep, Nildram. Good support and cheap, especially if you don't need web space. AOL as per previous posts.
  4. Problem with the tories is they insist on electing leaders THEY want as opposed to what the voters want.. In the meantime wwe have to put up with the likes of Prescott the Hutt...
  5. Don't forget the good old FH handle. i.eFuuuuuu****g hell!
  6. Yeah, second spoiler not so bad if you squint and for get those luuverly silver bits. And those light cluster covers - yummee! First spoiler - there's some lad with a B reg escort 1.4 with one of those round here...
  7. Black. Has to be black. Call me biased - which I am! - but for me black has never been a 'fashionable' colour. Just utter style and class!

LOL! .. and rumour has it he er.. borrowed that concept from one Hans Ledwinka, the well known Czech engineer. Allegedly.

I think it is the manufacurer's who are culpable here - in the Cayenne especially, they are providing answers for questions that nobody asked. Choice and innovation are great of course - witness the Citroen Pluriel - but the "me too" mentality is all getting a little silly - there are even rumours of a Jaguar SUV. Arrgh!!! As for what Dr. Porsche would think of that great hulk, God only knows. If it were me, I'd be spinning in my grave...

Sorry FD, I just don't like SUV's! If you had as many cluttering up the place as we do here you may agree! And just don't get me started on the Cayenne!! Cheers

Excellent - a return to the innovative ideas from the Skoda of (very) old. Just pray they go this way as opposed to some silly Toerag look-a-like...

Forgot to say that the one time I need their support line (Ooh, matron) they were fine. Nildram's that is...

Second Stimps on Nildram - I'm on the 'lite' service (have my own web host) and have been excellent so far. Just to confuse matters, also running Opera 7.0 - no more IE for me!
  14. Quite right Q, no one should be exempt from the law BUT, it was the cynical way that speed traps were set up at the time that causes a wry smile - could never see that happening in Italy for instance... When you have brilliant ideas like making motorists contribute to victims of crime via a fixed penalty 'tax' you begin to wonder what it's all about:confused:
  15. You gotta hand it to 'em - or they'll take it away:bluegrab:
  16. Which, I assume, will be AFTER this year's event? The old ruses are the best ruses...
  17. Curses - beat me to it web story here Needless to say It wouldn't happen anywhere else. Welsh Tourist Board must be well chuffed!
  18. Crowthorne - on the TRL site Link
  19. Ahh! Saw that at the Paris Show last year - stunning and really quite compact as well, which makes a change!
  20. Now I'm getting spoilt for choice! A scientific experimentation beckons! :mircowave Progress will be reported!
  21. Do I have to hammer them in???
  22. Think I'll try the picture hooks - always get a sore thumb from them so at last, a use for them. Actually, usually get a sore thumb from a sledgehammer so perhaps.... Nice one!
  23. OK, this is probably an old chestnut but an hour searching the forums is just tooo much:o Anybody know what (if any) manufacturer's removal tools will work on a Symphony? The VW ones look as though they might - any ideas? Long round trip to a dealer for me and anyway, rather have access to the right tools all the time!
  24. Which makes the 7 Series a large shed and the Z4 (seem in the flesh and they really are awful) a squashed origami shed. Unless you work for Autocar.
  25. How about the McLaren/Merc SLR - apparently a few of these are 'doing the rounds' at the moment.
