Did you have reversing camera fitted after placing your order in other words an after fit.

I am thinking of selling my 2021vrs due to ill health the car has done 7900mls. It has reversing camera, blackvue dash cam and tracker. Mint condition. Cost with the extras was 34k. Offers leicestershire.

Hello, Has anyone had an software update on their Sat nav. When I put in an address it shows off road. The dealer says they are hopeful a software update will be available.

I have a blackview with a power pack using the usb from the mirror.

My car also has just had the 1896 software update. I find I have cars flashing me.

I assume the PDI and car registered about the same time. I will be wary of the garage in future. I do have a Skoda garage local to me but they do not have a good reputation. Hence bought car from another county. Thanks to everyone for their input.

Hello roottoot, My car is on variable servicing. Had the car since Jan 2021 done 7600mls. I am due to go to Scotland for my 2nd road trip, the oil service indicator has been lit up for 2months so thought it would be good opportunity to get 1st service done. No software update due to the factory (skoda) being off line. Car going back into garage in October for the updates. Reading interim service it seems I may have paid a premium for very little work carried out.

Sorry to hear of your problems sneal, my car went in for first service 1/9 and they were unable to update software due to Skoda factory being off line. I am hoping the software should sort any problems as they have had 2years to sort out the issues.

Thank you surryjohn, I was charged £229.00 for an oil change when I questioned what had been done they said checked the car over. They also said oil prices had rocketed. No software updates as the Skoda factory was off line. Did not wash car as they had done away jet wash ( no hosepipe ban in the area) Be interesting what other members think......

Yes, I had one yesterday on 30/8 at 1300hrs. It did not say what the update was for. I must say over the last month or so there has been lots of updates. I will tell you a funny one. Booked my car in for its first service for tomorrow, had a call from the garage today to cancel service due to Skoda's computers are down.

Do any of the members know whether Skoda dealers are automatically removing the covers (and not putting them back on) when cars are being serviced. Thank you.

I also have a TDI, could not say I noticed any burning smell. If in doubt get it checked out. They may decide to remove engine cover like other members have said. Better to be safe than sorry.

I have had my car since January 21 still on the same battery in key fob. My car due for a service but concerned about all the faults that other owners are having with their cars. The only faults I have ever had has been with the sat nav. Dealer says as part of the service they update the software. Bit hesitant as i dont want problems I haven't got.

Hello All, Had my mk4 diesel vs since January 21. Only problems I have had has been sat nav, all addresses being off road and the odd braking when car going left around corner. Other than that very pleased with the car. Getting 57mpg generally.

Received my mk4 Jan 2021 the only obvious problem I have is the sat nav not saving settings. Done almost 6k miles. Car on variable servicing garage contacted me re: changing the oil as service indicater suggests oil change.

I purchased a faraday pouch and ķeep the keys in that. They are quiet inexpensive. Bought on line.

I have my blackvue connected via the mirror usb. It works fine..

I went out and bought a new tyre pump with an extra long lead.

I have Samsung s7 although considered an old phone it works perfectly with android auto. E.g.. everything works and is transformed to the car. There seems to be so many problems with the new Skoda, and yet to date I have had no problems other than the sat nav saying unknown road when I put in details. I really must be a lucky one.. I have home and work set up in the sat nav and both are retained.

Hello Joss 1733, The order date was 7th Nov 2020 estimated delivery date 22 Dec 2020 actual date received was 15 Jan 2021. Hope this helps.
