Ye, I was just focusing on the question about how far wheels would stick out, the J figure is another matter. I think someone just recently asked about fitting 9Js.

Hi H, et46 to et35 = 11mm . Wheel 11mm further out.

Hi H, you dont seem to be getting any help at the moment, so I'll give you my thought. The ET on the wheels your looking at only stick out 11mm more than the wheels you have got on now. Measure 11mm out from the tyre, that will give you an idea of where it will be compared to the wheel arch. 11mm isn't much. Thats my take on things.

Had this when i got my Octavia, turned out i was not pushing the pump nozzle in hard enough. Mines really tight, you really have to be firm pushing it in.

Was not expecting that. Car was three years old when i got it in 2019. Its done 37,000 Its been the same since i got it, when driving it changes up quick in econ, and when towing, to me it changes up at just the right time. When i enquired about the Haldex at Skoda, they said, "that doesn't get done unless you ask". That tells you something. I will be getting the DSG and Haldex serviced.

This might just be normal, so just say if it is. Will ask anyway, when changing from reverse to drive with a DSG, it just "seems" to take a while ? It always "seems" worse because I have to reverse out onto the road, not main, and when I'm half way across the road someone comes along and I have to wait to go into drive. Nobodies got impatient yet, but I feel a bit of a numpty looking like I don't know what I'm doing.

Ye what Carlston said. Having said that, anything is possible, you only have to watch the custom car programs. Alot depends on how far you want to go, rolled arches, body kits etc. ??? 🤔

They do, but just dont order anything big at the moment.

Just on a side point, the car i have now, Octavia mk3, is the first car i haven't changed the horn, im happy with it.

Interesting articles. Could relate to some of it, as i had 2008 1.9PD Scout. Regarding cambelt, when i had my second one, the guy that did it said, "did you know the timing was a tooth out, its right now." I couldn't believe how much better it ran on the way home.

Ye, i really thought about it. Its bad enough only doing 60mph, then having to only do 50mph. Then trying to find somewhere to sort out puncture. At least you could get on holiday or back home, then sort it. I managed to get a spare wheel the same as what is on the car already.

I just sold a space saver, went for a full size, but only because i didn't want to get stuck towing.

The Scout did have a bit higher stance, with different springing. Well mine did, it was a 1.9 tdi. 💪

Most people who had one on here kept them for along time. Mine, 11years, and its still in the family going strong. 💪

It came from a list thats in the tyre zone. Thought it could do with being in the wheel zone as well. 😊
