  1. I've just had cambelt done, just before I left garage the mechanic said, by the way I removed the silica bag, made sense really. One thing I haven't got to worry about. 🥴
  2. Interesting project in the background. Packard or something similar?
  3. They look good, looks like you need them. Shame they don't do them for the scout.
  4. Thanks Carlston for all your hard work. The Roomster already has Audi mk1 TT wheels on. If the wheels advertised had been the right fitment, at £150 they would have been worth it.
  5. Hi, I was looking at them for my sons Roomster. Thanks for the information, there not going to fit.
  6. It might just be me, but I cannot see the stud pattern.
  7. Hi Scott with a Scout. Carnt beat your pictures there ace. This is mine, parked outside my weekend residence 😂, not really.
  8. Then attempt to find some decent ones. 🧐
  9. My 2016 stays in the mode selected, it doesn't revert back to normal each time I drive it. Just on a side point, I've been using ECO mode for a while, but just recently gone to NORMAL, car drives alot nicer and smoother.
  10. Hi, what's the stud pattern and offset et ?
  11. Hi Beki, are you in ECO mode, when you say the car maintains speed ?
  12. I only looked at the first few posts on this topic when I purchased my Octavia, and found out when mine needed to be done. So this might have been said already, its funny the silica bag was mentioned in the previous post. Anyway, had the Cambelt etc done today, when they gave me back the car, the mechanic said, "I've removed the silica bag, so you won't have any trouble further down the line". Is that going the extra mile, or is that normal ? I thought he'd gone the extra mile, and clever thinking.
  13. Never had any problems fitting the '32's, everything just pop's in as normal. I agree about using good batteries. Also, if you do it when you get the heads up, it's less hassle.
  14. Yes it was the lower floor, I trimmed some of the plastic at the rear to get the wheel to sit flat, but the lower floor sits a bit proud, but I don't see it with the upper floor fitted.
  15. I have fitted a full size spare, I just cut the wedges off the insert as you suggested and all was OK. Had to trim some of the plastic to get it flat, but lower floor sticks up a bit, upper floor is flat. I also have estate.
  16. Opie Oils have always sorted me out, even when I ordered the wrong oil the first time I ordered oil for my Octavia. I ordered some just recently, and they advised me on the upgrade to the oil I usually get, as it wasn't listed anymore.
  17. Prefer scissor Jack myself, but mine came with the other.
  18. I fitted some HIDs in my Roomster, it had projector headlights and they were perfect, still working after being in about 10years. Decided to give them a try in the Octavia, thought there would be no problem, but the Octavia has reflector headlights, the first night I went out with them ,the lights showed a criss cross pattern infront of the car, all I could do is look at it, it was so putting me off driving, took them out the next day and returned them. I then tried some LEDs, the fitment was so loose I didn't trust them, I thought if I go over a big bump they would fall out the holder, returned them. Cost me £6.50 to learn all that, returns pp.
  19. I wish I had a CD player. Anyway Matt, find RUSTYNUTS on this site, he'll sort you.
  20. This is the clear. Smoked was the same. You can see they came in plane brown box.
  21. I posted back in April about the SuperSkoda ones. Maybe their getting them from the same place as Ali.
  22. I tried both clear and smoked, both showed up by mirror. I found the Ali ones didn't.
  23. SuperSkoda ones are fine, had no problems with them.
  24. I'll give you a wave the next time I'm passing. 🚣‍♂️
