I notice someone has ordered and fitted the new Skoda badges in the Octavia forum.Does anyone know if they are available for the Superb estate Mk 2 ,and if so ,what are the part numbers. Thanks

There is no list of all the bulbs in the 05.2012, but is in the 2011 version. This seems a bit wierd ,I think they forgot to put it in. Maybe you have to look at the bulb you are taking out before you can know what to buy for a replacement!!!!!.How do you know what spares to carry.

I have been informed by Skoda UK that my vehicle is in the docks at Newcastle, waiting to be delivered.Can anyone tell what the average time taken is to be delivered to the dealer ,after arriving in UK.

Ordered my Superb estate SE 1.8TSI 4X4 last week Feb .Built last week waiting for ship to Newcastle.That's 11 weeks to biuld,may be another 2 until with dealer.

My Superb Estate is being built next week, is it possible the new Skoda badge may be on MY13 cars.

I had a test drive in the 5 speed 1.4 Superb estate I did not like it, very under powred, I have the 1.8tsi Octy Scout due to have the 1.8TSI Superb Estate delivered ,being built week 19 (next week). Should be with me end of May,I think the SE is well worth the extra cost over the S level.

I had to replace my 1.8tsi Scout with Superb Estate SE 1.8tsi 4X4. A pity but it is not all bad news, the Superb SE has some extras that the Scout did not have, and at least I got the no VAT offer. Delivery due first week June, all being well, build week 19.

Not what is required ,but I like your sense of humour.

Fuel economy is not a problem with me, only do about 8k per year, and the 1.8TSI is a lovely engine, not much difference between Scout and Superb estate.Do not particulary like the diesel with DPF.It would take me ten years to break even with extra cost of deisel engine(NO VAT FREE OFFER). it is a no brainer since I change my car every 2/3 years.

I have build week 19 deliver end May .Only extras are sunset glass,heated washers, and spare wheel.colour is Cappuccio same as my Scout it is great for not showing dirt,olso the Superb look great in this colour.

I have ordered a Superb estate SE 1.8TSI 4X4 to replace my 2010 I.8TSI Scout (relutantly).The main reason is I cannot order a new scout ,and the Superb estate is the next best . I don't realy need the ground clearance,but do reqiure the 4X4 for winter conditions.The superb estate is a nicer looking car,with a lot more leg room in the back and more comfy seating .There is also the VAT free offer which is a good incentive to buy. Hope to have delivery 1st week in June.

I have ordered a Superb estate SE 1.8TSI 4X4 in place of my Scout . Due to be built week 19 should be with my first week in June, fingers crossed.Just as well I did not want another Scout.

I have noticed in the latest price list Octy Scout and all 4X4 are from stock only ,you cannot order a new specified one.Must be not producing anymore or a new model is due.

Did anyone notice that the octavia scout is now only available from stock, cannot be ordered .It looks it is being replaced, or not not available.All the octavia 4x4 models are also in this position.

I managed to get an email via another method, and they said they would get back to me ASAP. Here is hoping !!!! Skoda UK came on the phone in 5min.Told me my car was code 10 week 19 and in one week would be code 20 with a firm build week which would not change( may be erlier or later) the factory decides.He also gave me a reference number, and a phone number to call at any time to get the latest position of my vehicle. Very helpful service.

I tried to find the "CONTACT SKODA" on line but it comes up as ERROR PAGE .How did you get to send an email to them. Thanks DDYER79

No joy it just say's "your order is crrently awaiting manufacturing date" so I guess it only works with the specific dealer. Thanks all the same.

My Superb 1.8tsi SE 4x4 estate has been given a build week 19, and the dealer gave me a 8 digit code. Does anyone know if I can use this to track my order on line .They seemed to think I could ?

In theory the Haldex system should give you more life on your front than the 2WD system ,any acceleration means front wheels could slip and hence wear rubber ,where the Hadeex detects slip in milliseconds and should prevent wear. Also no need to switch tyres for even wear.

I was told by my dealer that the 4X4 version has the suspension tweeked to be a little firmer than normal. This could be the reason for different test results.

A "Spy shot" with SKODA big and clear???? I also think most countries require a number plate of some sort.

Could be a new badge change.I have seen a Skoda document in CZ saying that the new badge will be from week 12 build.
