  1. To be fair I didn't even see that the post was from February lol.
  2. Would it be worth having a look at the clutch pedal switch? Seems odd that both cruise control and the gear change indicator are both intermittent, the clutch pedal switch is the only thing I imagine both systems have in common to need to work.
  3. Kilen, they do loads of aftermarket (I.e. non-dealer) replacement gas struts. There's different ways that gas springs can be fitted depending on application. In the case of these that come with the kit they're a ball and socket fitting, ball on the vehicle socket on the strut. I had a look in the catalogue and in the back they list them by measurement and also tell you the force in newtons. On the supplied struts they say 200 and something I think it was (memory not serving me well lol), in the catalogue they have a couple more listed in the right dimensions but up to about 400+ (which is listed for some sort of volvo tailgate with a boot spoiler hence needing a greater force) It might be overkill but its useful to know theres stronger ones available. I might order one up and try it compared to the one supplied in the kit.
  4. Received mine today cheers. Just a note for the Octy 2 guys I've measured the gas strut that comes with the kit and there are more powerful ones available in the exact same dimensions with the same plastic socket fittings. I'm sure there would be for the others too. I haven't fitted mine yet but I just thought I'd have a look out of interest while I had it in front of me.
  5. Would also do a P/x with a columbus or indeed other wheels in 19 inch flavour
  6. 1 Pair of 5x112/5x120 Adapters 20mm, Come with all bolts, unsure of age but no stripped threads as youd expect with them being the better steel insert type by H&R. £75 collected from Rotherham £80 delivered o793o2469o2
  7. Sticking these up once again now they're back off the car. Stamped on the face as BBS RS789 forged, 18x9, et45, 5x114.3 and are 2 piece splits. I dont know the accurate size of the centre bore but they look to be about 75mm holding a tape measure over them, either way they have spigot rings in for 57.1mm. As you can see in the pics they are pretty decent condition wise, no chunks missing, no flat spots, never been welded, still balanced up nicely. They currently have 225/40R18 Yokohama Parada spec 2 tyres on, 2 have a little camber wear and go from 4-4.5mm inside to out, 2 are 5.5mm even so plenty of meat left. I can sell them without tyres but would want a deposit before I had them taken off. As stated they are a Jap fitment but I run these on a 5x112 car with wobble/pcd correction bolts which are included. Located in Rotherham £625 with tyres, £500 without. o793o2469o2
  8. Good man, again appreciate all the time and effort you're putting into this!
  9. Looking good, 1inch lipped speedlines should look well on with the meatier brakes too! Not jealous lol
  10. Good effort!!! Much appreciated for your time organising it in the first place.
  11. Good stuff mate, let me know how you get on with the columbus from that seller as that's who's listings I've been looking at. You get any further with the other problems?
  12. I'll join if I can please? 1: Keechy 2: mikeholroyd 3: adamal 4: j306td 5: such 6: rip 7: turbobell 8: doofy 9: cactusjack 10. Superskoda 11. Structures 12. 88rsr
  13. I drove mine a fair distance from the exhaust place to the guy I use for mapping and didn't get any lights or limp mode, but the pipe I had fitted still has all the sensors in place so it looks the part but this may also mean the sensors were reading in tolerance and not throwing a code. You should be fine though over that sort of distance as a one off.
  14. Spacers on the rear of mine are purely for the look, I've spaced the fronts 3mm for strut clearance however as they are 18x9 all round. I'll have a look if I have a pic as those wheels are off at the moment as I did have a buyer for them but as always it fell through lol.
  15. Quite possible mate, the spoiler on mine almost looks as if there's no lacquer on even after polishing it just doesn't have the depth of shine like the rest of the paint. I find this car/paint is also far more prone to stone chips than my previous cars despite doing less mileage in this one, bit of a shame as otherwise its a really good motor.
  16. My rears sit just about flush at et40, theyre 18x9 et45 with a 5mm spacer, I would imagine you would want to be around mid 40s offset wise on a 9.5 and it should sit quite nicely
  17. Definitely 55mm strut on the fronts, unsure of the load though mate but I'm sure someone will confirm
  18. I had some fitted to my Mums car a couple of months back in 225/45R17 flavour (the car used to be mine and I've had ridiculous amounts of wheels/tyres on) I found them really good in the wet and on roads which typically felt greasy. Much better traction in the wet than most budgets get in the dry tbh. I can't comment in the dry as I only drove the car a few times since they were fitted and it was always wet. Felt comfortable enough although I used to run 18s and 19s on said car so might not be the best comparison in that respect. Wear wise I cant really comment as they haven't been on long enough. I would go as far as to say they will most likely be my next tyre purchase on my own car when the time comes.
  19. Would imagine they're about perfect fitment wise, maybe a little room to space if needed at that.
