  1. i got new ones like bluevrs2 has above, from dealers
  2. just unplug the connector under the seat, its a normally closed connection iirc, so unplugging will set it open i.e. belt plugged in constantly
  3. The sensor is on the windscreen behind the rear view mirror, with the car running if you cover it from outside the lights should come on,
  4. Its on the menu at the top of the page also
  5. That might explain how the date for mine keeps changing on the dealer order tracking system, still waiting for the rear to arrive
  6. My front is held on with 3 sticky pads (no surround) and rear is a surround the same as Mike has from same supplier, also got the pressed metal plates from them i didnt use any extra holes like mike, but havent had any issues with the floppiness at the corners
  7. Have a look here, now i havent used them so i have no idea what they are like to deal with but prices seem fairly reasonable http://www.obautodily.cz/eshop/skoda-octavia-ii-facelift/radicky-plaketky-rukojete/
  8. So still waiting for the rear to arrive, but just in the meantime.... And i know it needs a wash
  9. i had a similar if somewhat worse outcome, the loon who replaced mine used a hand brush and left loads of scratches across the roof in the sweep of his arm, along with knife cuts in one or two places ended up going to a bodyshop to be sorted by the windscreen company the initial chip suddenly turned into a crack and would need replacement in the 5 mins after they arrived while i was in my office 2 years later i have 2 chips and im not in any hurry to go through all that again
  10. Think this is a common fault, i had mine go like this but was still under warranty so replaced foc, its easy enough to swap the new one Think the faulty ones are "Made in USA" and the newer ones are "made in Malaysia" Check out http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/237798-dpf-light-on-no-town-driving-pd170-vrs/page__hl__%20gas%20%20pressure%20%20sensor
  11. I have H&R 35mm springs on standard dampers with no issues, only drops about 15mm over the standard vrs springs
  12. Not Funny !! :p ah it will give me time to paint the grille surround anyway
  13. Got an update from the dealer the other day, my rear badge is due in on 24th
  14. Glad you got sorted, you wont go far wrong with Pilsen, they are very good and helpful
  15. Rear badge is just stuck on, there are 2 legs on it, but if you use a bit of fishing line and work your way round it comes off handy What new rear badge did you order? i have ordered a fabia one but its on back order so waiting for it to arrive Front grille looks well though
  16. Irish dealer, €18 odd + 21%VAT, the Citigo ones were €12 odd +VAT Guess i will find out monday if it arrives
  17. So went to the new local dealer today and ordered a set of badges, will put pics up next week when i get them Ordered Citigo Front, New Fabia Rear and 4 wheels

  19. This is my 3rd winter on my Alpin A4's and i may even get another one out of them, they have about 3 mm left before they get to the upper limit mark (snow one i think) well happy with them, they dont perform as well now as they did when new but still good
  20. You can purchase a freedom membership http://www.briskoda.net/forums/store/category/1-freedom-members-support/
  21. Had a look at the octy 3 boot badge last night, and visually it looks bigger didnt measure it though as was during the launch party
  22. I had a similar dent on the other side, it is surprisingly easy to dent here but it hadn't broken the paint, got it removed by PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) guy cant be seen now
