Richard. Setting 4 i think it is. 720p but at 60hz. Have a look at the difference between 30 and 60hz at the same resolution, 60hz looks a lot smoother, glossier as such. Wardy. Tend to use Sony Vegas Pro, i think it lacks many features though and had thought about trying Premiere Kev

I'd have perhaps called on her behalf. Listening to what you just said they should definitely have sent someone round.. I'm a co-responder with the Fire service and we've been turned out to much less than what you've described.. Kev

We use them on the race cars, nice units that you can put pretty much anywhere. The wide angle is the best, so you can get a good view of the interior of the car and through the window. 60hz recording is good too.. Kev

At 49k cam wear shouldnt be an issue. Has it done it since you bought the car then? Kev

What mileage has it done? Kev

VAG 170 PS Diesel Injector Failures - VOSA action
Jabbasport replied to jfarhead's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Will pass this onto customers in future. We've replaced about 4 of these in the past on different cars.. Kev -
We put a florescent dye in the water, it's the brightest thing you've ever seen. If there's no sign of that then the chances are it's something more substantial... Kev

Oil temps shouldn't be as bad.. The MD376 turbos are purely oil cooled so the oil picks up all the heat whereas the turbo on Richards car is water cooled, so oil is for lubrication only, not cooling. Kev

These guys would be able to make some up from patterns taken from your original panels.. http://www.performance-trim.com/

They do, but that's obviously for Silverstone's own use, MSA etc. Each team has their own PMRs, there's a few companies out there, MTRC and Autotel that offer their services to supply repeaters etc but i'd rather we did it ourselves to save cost.. Kev
-
We already have a selection of PMR radios, mainly Motorola GP320 and 340 on UHF. We've basically got everything to sustain suitable pit-car and pit-pit comms, but when racing at silverstone in varied conditions, especially fog at night we'll need to use a repeater to maintain steady comms. I was thinking of either getting hold of something like a Kenwood repeater, or making one out of 2 GM300s.. What i really need assistance with is Antennas... A duplexer sounds a bit complicated to me so was going to run with an antenna for rx and one for tx. I really need some guidance on spacing between the two. I'm going to get them as far apart as poss to avoid saturating the rx antenna and was going to mount one higher than the other as i've read vertical separation is better than horizontal. Cheers Kev

Hi Guys, We'd certainly be up for helping you sort this out. We would offer 20% discount on any super pro products if you could organise a group buy.. Cheers Kev
-
As above really.. Need to set up a VHF repeater for Britcar 24hr. Could do with some guidance. Cheers Kev

I Make that around 5 secs 0-60! Kev

It's sat in storage at the moment... With the recession hitting at a similar time progress had stopped after the engine was removed... Kev

I've just come back off a first aid at work and Btec Lv2 Basic & Intermediate ICHD First Person On Scene course. As much as it's a great course there's a lot of cramming and the sessions were only 25 mins on each subject... I'll be signing up as co-responder for our station this week, we usually ride with a crew of 2 or 3 though, not just one person turning up on your doorstep. Kev
-
Hi John, We can investigate this when the car comes down for service if you'd like, even pop it into our local station to test it. As you say, it could just be Gems driving, but don't let her know i said that.. Cheers Kev
-
I'll +1 for TomTom, all runs locally so no data charges.. Kills my poor 3G though lol Runs much better on the other half's 4G Kev

If it's a hybrid we'll use a de-cat system. Cheers Kev

We have first responders in lincolnshire fire and rescue, trained in trauma care, oxylator and defib. At our station we're out regularly because there's no local ambulance station. Trained by LIVES and have our own Vauxhall Astra Estate Co-Responder car with blues and twos.. Kev

A forced regen can still usually sort it.. Through VCDS Kev
