  1. The camshaft is completely standard. The standard injectors are as they left the factory. No modifications. There's no point modifying a part and not charging the customer for it, if we'd changed or modified something it'd be on their invoice. The only "addition" to the fuel system is the water/meth kit. On diesel only runs we usually see 250-260bhp, this was our fuelling limit and the addition of water/methanol usually shows up to a 10bhp gain.
  2. We have an agent up your way.. MB Motorsport. Kev
  3. We're not a far drive up the M11 > A14... Kev
  4. Fabdavrav raises a valid point, one which many people seem to overlook. We're talking about 2 completely different set-ups here, which in effect offers 2 very different efficiency engines. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volumetric_efficiency http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_efficiency For example, injecting 70mg/stroke of diesel in one engine with a certain setup isn't guaranteed to create the same power as an engine with a completely different setup. Just because the fuel quantity injected is the same doesn't mean the power will be. These kind of topics seem to be going around in roundabouts and coming back to the same conclusion, at least now, a brand new, proven rolling road has produced the figures we have been claiming.. Kev
  5. We offer this as an option, but the vehicle doesn't have to use it constantly. Kev
  6. Leave Ben out of it lol. Unfortunately after careful consideration we have no plans to release any data on our kits concerning SOI, duration etc. A point to consider also is that the turbocharger, manifold, inter cooler and intake system is completely different to Friggerpants and therefore un-comparable. Kev
  7. It's the DIN correction, based on air temperature and atmospheric pressure, you can see this by looking at your printout.. Kev Edit: ^ Ha, beat me to it
  8. For reference, this is how it read on our rollers in 2009... *Flywheel power Tried to scale it similarly to Shark's axis, our roller software isn't good at outputting to a file though so doesn't contain the same kind of detail as the BAPro file. *Not as far out as everybody thinks.. Our rollers showed 261bhp and 538nm 2 years ago, 10-11-2009 to be precise. Kev
  9. I'd stump up a remap FOC if this went ahead for some stickers Kev
  10. Going to the ring on the 14th, you wouldn't mind if we borrowed the GTR would you? Kev
  11. The ring is much more exciting to drive in something like a 172 clio cup rather than a 400+ bhp monster.. With less power you can learn the circuit, which will take 100's of laps and perfect your lines rather than arriving at corners far too quickly and getting lines messed up.. Kev
  12. Hi Daz, Send me an email to [email protected] with your enquiry and i'll help you out. Cheers Kevin
  13. We can remove this off ASZ and just need a BLT to test our file on to remove the faults caused. Thanks Kev
  14. I do mine every 10k and it still looks new.. (I've had it for 60k miles) Clean, bake and re-oil. I had seen another one that looks exactly like this that was in a customers car, it'd been left in for quite some time without maintainence. I think once rust gets to the wire it can break quite easily.. I'd imagine the oil will eventually give up which would then allow the mesh to rust.. Kev
  15. @ Auric Simple adjustment of this map will give the same effect. So they could have done it all in the map, rather than a map and a box.
  16. I may also be interested in this cliff, i will get back to you though. Cheers Kev
  17. That's brilliant. They sold you a remap, and then an add-on box that achieves something that can be written into a remap anyway through the drivers wish map. All this does is ramp the throttle signal, so if you go to say 50% throttle as you pull away, it'll actually deliver closer to 100% throttle making the car feel more urgent. VW do this with their R32 engines, you only whisper on the throttle and the engine pulls hard, but then the rest of the throttle range is redundant, makes the car feel super quick and responsive but is really just an elaborate trick. Kev
  18. Not an atmospheric valve is it? Kev
  19. I think they're plates that people have made in the vinyl layers section. I do wonder though, how much quicker you'd be with a proper rig rather than a gamepad.. Kev
  20. We've been involved in a demo version, IHI Turbo kit Kev
  21. It took me 20 something laps to beat Clive in the Lancia on the circuit with all the bloody traffic.. Next day i come on and he's beaten my time.. I can't be arsed to spend another hour just for a tenth of a second and lots of swearing after catching a car on a "fast" lap lol.. Kev
  22. @CFB That's a well justified and meaningful response, it's a shame not everyone is like this. Admittedly the appliance is limited to 56mph without blues, but we have the full range of 260bhp and 70mph on blues! Kev
  23. On a side note, what's people's view on overtaking an emergency vehicle whilst on blues? We were on an emergency call one evening, to a house fire, (i'm a retained fire fighter) and got overtaken by a car on a single carriageway road. Admittedly a near 20tonne fire engine isn't the quickest vehicle on the road, but I'd never consider overtaking an emergency vehicle with blues on.. Kev
  24. My interior light goes dim sometimes, there's a contact in it that's a bit duff, usually giving it a whack sorts it out. Now it's colder the car may be initially injecting a bit more diesel on startup which may be why you get a little blip and then settles down to idle.. Could possibly just be reading into things a bit too much? Kev
