Hi,

 

had some issues earlier in the year, but nothing for four months.

now most days I get a 12v error message.

actually realised that if I look at the app and it has not updated for over 30 minutes it is likely I will have the issue.

Can’t send a pre heat message or message to charge the car

then when I go to the car I can’t use keyless entry.

once I get in, I am getting a replace battery in key message.

 

anyone else still having issues??

 

I frequently have this issue, this morning for example, freezing outside so asked the car to warm up ahead of me leaving the house and unable to wake up, so went out to the car, started it , error stated 12v restricted, so started the car, ran it a few minutes, error went off, then locked the car and app was able to communicate and I then set the car to warm up and went back to the house to finish off my coffee.

 

Nothing in the car to deplete the battery, car is standard.

 

Frustrating as I have just paid the renewal for the remote services and when I need it, it doesnt work as intended.

Car going in at the end of the month for a week so then can run some diagnostics.

 

Car has been at the dealership since Tuesday. They were told quite clearly I would not be picking the car up unless they changed something

Just had a call. Having run the diagnostics through their very expensive computers, the technician this morning used at standard volt meter, and found an issue straight away.

After 12 months of issues, today they changed the 12v battery

So if I understand correctly. The 12v battery issue was fixed by replacing the 12v battery? And this took them a year?

Correct.

Unfortunately once the 12v battery issue shows, once you drive the car the fault disappears and does not show again as a fault.

Skoda will only change under warranty if the fault is seen by them.
