Iis it possible to set the handbrake to come on when I switch the ignition off.

I am used to auto handbrakes in other Skodas and as my drive is on a slope, and although I put it in park, I just wondered if there was an easy way to set it to do this automatically

Does it really not apply the e-Brake now when you switch off, unfasten the seat belt or open the drivers door?

On my 2023 Sportline DSG i have auto hold on all the time, when I come to a stop the brake symbol on the dash, (P) illuminates green, I always put the DSG into park and switch off, the (P) changes from green to Red.

Auto hold on seems to be the only way that when you switch off the ignition the handbrake goes on.

Now just to remember to put it in park (my octy did that automatically but this does not )
