ANOTHER 10,000 mile update
Simon-R replied to dstev2000's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
I had a rattle from my 150 dsg diesel when you came to a halt that was a badly route gear selector cable, might be worth checking. It was worse when engine temp was up to normal running temperature. -
+1 for smartlink works really well on android auto using Google maps. Voice look up works well.

Which route option/colour gives me the best roads?
Simon-R replied to weeyoyo's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
I normally select the red route, which i think is the fastest route. -
Superb owner and now Yeti owner as well
Simon-R replied to Simon-R's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
They have just won Skoda Aftersales dealer of the year. I have only used them once to sort out some stuff on the Superb and they did everything that I asked in the agreed timescale. -
Yeti 1.2TSI - 2 months old and a strange noise from under the car
Simon-R replied to jbreedon's topic in Skoda Yeti
In my experience, having worked in dealerships for 20 years (not any more thankfully) is to get rattles etc dorted you have to be able to demonstrate them to the technician that is going to have to fix it. Well worth in investing in the time to take someone out with you so that they can hear the noise for themselves. -

This is the 2nd car I have had from them in 7 months, got to say having working in the industry for over 20 years they are very good. As you say it is a bit tight especially in a Superb -
I know some on here have Yeti's as well. I have joined the club. Collected the Yeti this morning. I think the roof looks great. Compliments the Superb really well. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

I have had my glovebox lid adjusted due to poor fit similar to your picture. It is not perfect in my opinion it is due to the latch design.

In my experience, as someone who used to run a dealer service operation. When each and every car is booked in it will be checked on Skoda's system to see if there are any outstanding campaigns or recalls for the vehicle. This will automatically be added to the job list. You as the customer should be shown the jobcard which you must sign to agree to the work being carried out, this is then retained for audit by Skoda warranty dept. I never had a customer decline for any free campaigns or recalls to be done. I have a similar issue with my Superb. I know there is a campaign on it to alter the sunroof so that you cannot close it with the key to stop you trapping anyone in it??? I dont want it done so I will see what happens when it goes in for its next service.

Finally the car is on its way. Should arrive with the dealer on Monday. Picking it up next Friday 1st July

Adding DAB and Smartlink to newest model, post build?
Simon-R replied to Zarch's topic in Skoda Yeti
DAB and Smartlink are the only 2 options that I specced with our new Yeti SE-L both worth it in my opinion:) -
Washer nozzle retrofit (heated version)

Can someone confirm how much the local TPS want for a pair of these? Many thanks -
Cash price didnt include the deposit contribution for the PCP offer

Carwow is a great tool it has been hugely successful and attracted a lot of investment from 3rd party investors so it cant be all bad., it is not only Skoda dealers that are using manufacturer contributions in their discounted offers to customers via Carwow. This is why there are 2 prices one for a cash purchase and one for a finance purchase. At the end of the day it is down to the individual to negotiate a deal that they are happy with using a sales channel that they are happy with. I have recently purchased a Superb 3 and a Yeti, in both instances I used the Carwow quotes as a guide I then negotiated the deal with my local dealer who I must say has been excellent in both purchases. I personally would not use a broker as I would not be building the relationship with the dealer that I may rely on in the future to help me out in some way.

Album art + SD card + Columbus

Ah OK that makes sense but to be honest I have got better things to do than spending time sorting out album artwork :p -

Just been on Skoda website and it would seem from the configurator that you can no longer spec a Yeti with a coloured roof? Glad I got my order in when it was still an option. Is this part of the rationalization of the range?
