Is the battery dead?
Agree 100% I would fit the AGM over EFB each and every time.

@Vahids @nta16 Remember he is in Switzerland, so he needs there or Germany for example. He does have a Swiss site he can order from. Forget Halfords/Tanya 🤝

Is the battery dead?
Guilty of not being clear in my text for sure. 😬 I mean to suggest that the car will turn off the Alternator differently for AGM/EFB Voltage/State of Charge amounts if that makes sense?

https://swissbatt24.ch/solar/solarbatterien/1808/varta-led70-professional-dp-efb-70ah-batterie?c=314 I don't read your language very well! But this should be the one you need, it's EFB technology. And you should not need to adapt/code this in, the car will take a little time but it will adjust to the new battery. Ideally you should adapt in a perfect World! EFB last 2x longer than an old 'Wet' type battery AGM last 3x longer than an old 'Wet' type battery, roughly speaking To swap to AGM you MUST adapt the car, as they are charged at different Voltages.

Is the battery dead?
I have just seen you are in Switzerland, the Tanya battery link might not work or sell to you. However the size is known as 096 EFB and the Varta is the OEM battery of choice fitted, why I chose that one. You probably won't locate anyone for VCDS, but if you stick with EFB and 70Ah, then you should have no actual need to adjust the settings (adapting) Check dimensions of replacement battery before you purchase, any more questions ask away.

- Is the battery dead?
The existing battery is 70Ah, and the replacement is also 70Ah, so you can just swap over. Please note that the car dash will light up like an Xmas tree afterwards, so you will need to go full lock left/right and if needs be take it for a drive. If you are going to charge the battery, connect to positive battery pole and connect the negative to the car Earth point, not direct to battery negative. My Octavia has negative Earth clamp just above battery near windscreen scuttle. The cleaning process here for your terminal(s) as they seem crusty.- Is the battery dead?
I will double check this, but should be what you need. I am on mobile phone, and not with PC. https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/varta/n70/ You can put in your registration on that site and choose EFB battery. You should in theory adapt the battery to your car, so it knows the fact a new one has been fitted. You can get away without doing if fitting same technology, but will take time for the car to adjust to the new capacity. You may need to clean up your terminals, again can recommend in a bit.- Is the battery dead?
Yes dead like a Monty Python parrot. Take a picture of the current battery in full so a replacement part can be sourced.- I need Bolero Update :-)
@pab567might be able to recommend you a possible replacement, or indeed be able to supply you one to fit.- I need Bolero Update :-)
Either dealer or possibly an independent workshop. Might not be worth the trouble/cost.- I need Bolero Update :-)
The update cannot fix Apple carplay, those features are turned on by release codes. 0138 is latest for your information.- Bolero MIB1 Update Help Please!
- New user on the site and I've had my first Skoda for a year and I'm satisfied
Welcome to the forum, glad you like your Skoda- Error: selector lever...
Given the very good in house IT, this could be software glitch in the infotainment system. For about £7.50 roughly, you could get on erWin Skoda and poke around in the workshop information. You could grab all the repair/wiring information in a mere minute or two, then using your VIN look at workshop information online. You want to open up the 'Red Book' section that has TPI recalls/campaigns, and then look down the lists below for gearbox information. Tip, save your VIN into a text file. Make sure you have a working PDF printer choice, and then print off all the information to PDF files.- Error: selector lever...
This is an old known fault, but like @SnailUKi am surprised it's not been fixed, also the document linked above might not be the correct parts for your car, or even apply to your model. The microswitch is not 'switching' anything, it's a fault in sensing the level position, the car doesn't think it's in Park when it is.- MIB3 Infotainment Updates Coming
Time will tell how far forward (backwards) the updates will get us in the future. Doesn't apply to me with my old car, so currently not too worried, but should be welcome news to those that are annoyed with the touch controls and slow systems.- Matrix headlights - dip beam cut-off
These style of headlight's need a diagnostic computer usually to put the lights into 'basic settings' otherwise known as learning mode. Then you need a special whiteboard board that has to have the light aimed at and then you can use the adjustable screws. After the adjustment, you then use the computer to complete the process by 'locking in' the adjustments. I've reduced the information down a lot as it's pages long in the maintenance manual for the matrix headlight's.- SOS Fault
When it does this, try and hold down power button for about 10 seconds to force a reboot. Might work, but seems a bit poorly.- SEAT & Skoda diagnostics
Underneath you are correct that the car parts are most definitely same and shared within the VAG group, sadly the coding isn't always the same for each part. Then the software literally won't talk to the other brands by automatic VIN filter, they could input a manual VIN for a similar platform, but the software would soon complain. Hopefully the advice by @tootwI'll help you sort out the car overall, let's hope it gets fixed by SEAT supplying garage at their expense, or you reject it if needs be.- What does this do?
Top one is cruise control, the other bottom is speed limiter, but actually finding that information in the manual is difficult (not pictured) Good post @Warrior193shame about the naff manuals.- SEAT & Skoda diagnostics
The licences for the 9 VAG brands cost a fair bit of money brand, so yes a SEAT garage might not have the Skoda licence even active on their ODIS diagnostic platform. They perhaps have another tool they could have scanned with like VCDS, but it's not a patch on the dealer tool.- MIB3 Infotainment Updates Coming
I thought a good idea to post this great news, it's been an issue with lots of people with their MIB3 based infotainment being buggy. https://www.arenaev.com/ceo_of_volkswagen_promises_the_infotainment_and_touch_control_fix-news-1063.php Hopefully this will resolve the issues since they removed the physical buttons. Also the system should be more responsive.- USB lead
It might be a USB-C socket in the newer cars, so check online manual. Search for Skoda manual and have VIN or input car model/year. - Is the battery dead?
