  1. I have a wide range of knowledge, but enough brains to just about know when to advise or call in the experts like Pete. We have a few forum members that are like google for being able to recall previous posts and pull them up to help, most helpful in getting fast answers!
  2. Only works up to 2018 iirc, newer cars are online only (and not downloadable)
  3. I will tag @Breezy_Pete here as I suspect he will be along to answer shortly. Most likely the rubber door bellows has a wire inside that is broken, stopping comms to a few other parts (has a domino effect)
  4. He needs the 8x screws, these are the 3x that fit on the rear of the tray 🤝
  5. Yeah they are a common part, and easily grabbed from a local dealers (recommend you get a few spares) My own cover was worse, most of mine were missing, it was dragging on the floor.
  6. Here is exploded image Parts 2, 3 & 4 are what secure the under tray, and QTY's are seen in the parts list
  7. I may have missed your PM, can you send it again?
  8. This might be a good idea for him to look into given the price of the armrest section, he is in Spain iirc, so if this is possible to be stripped, then you can negotiate some sheckles to be transferred between you both. I think you have black leather, unless I didn't see image clearly Part 17 that you would like to buy, is not available seperately for this model, so it falls to part 15 only which is a sum of all the parts highlighted. A real shame really. So it's 5E0 885 205 AG HMB where the HMB is just the colour code, so you should search for 5E0 885 205 AG and then see what is out there (also try to search without spaces as well, as some websites put them together)
  9. I took a bit of the weekend off from a lot of firmware help. I can send you 0369 version to you.
  10. Probably 0253, but you need to hold down menu/setup key to view software train and this is also the location for the firmware update button.
  11. I have reported post to ask admin to remove number, so if you can post your VIN without the last 6 numbers, I can look.
  12. Paint them with some black nail varnish?
  13. Oops, I mean whole VIN, but blank last 6 digit's.
  14. I shall send you a link to 0253 version Hoping this helps your situation
  15. Yes I will send along 0369 version in PM Use this location to update firmware
  16. You need to post at the least a partial VIN, leave off the last few 6 numbers so that I can try and locate it.
  17. There is only a PDF for 2018 cars to view online/download a copy, the last ever PDF release for a Karoq. There is not a PDF for 2022 cars to view or download, this is the trouble he is having. All there is available is a naff website, that you cannot print to a legible PDF, and if you could, there would be hundreds of files made (one per page)
  18. They only come as a single piece, so there's no seperate spring to purchase/broken handle option. A scrap yard is your best choice for a car that is being broken, I cannot confirm the correct part number as there's 2x chassis choices.
  19. I can send update to 0480, not sure it will be a big change, but might just make it more stable.
  20. I don't think people understand the OP's problem. He has a paper manual, it is missing information, and is telling him to use the digital manual, the PDF files are no more after 2018 (I've never seen one since for this car) so the new digital manual is now a website as such. The website is horrible to navigate if you're used to reading a PDF. Printing off sections from the webpage, the formatting is terrible, so you end up with garbled pages of information.
  21. You should hold down menu/setup button for 10 seconds to enter engineering menu. Then look for Software Train information and post picture up, this is also your firmware update button. The software updates are for small bugs usually, things like Bluetooth connectivity and small other issues, they don't exactly provide a changelog. Flashing is a fairly simple process, and there is no backup facility for firmware, but AFAIK you can load older versions, but don't quote me. So far nobody has broken a unit in flashing, process is stable and straightforward.
  22. The light won't come on until 55% loading, but regeneration can occur from just 15%. Also the GPF will do a self-test every 2,000km regardless of soot capacity. Question, just before you turn off you engine, what is the idle revs? If the car has not completed a regen cycle before you turn off, it will start the moment you start the car.
  23. A few things that must be obeyed. Card must be a Skoda SD Card (written with an ID valid that has to match system) Nearly always in FAT32 format, I don't think any other is supported Extract and write files only on a PC
  24. It will be part metal tube and rubber hose, you have the DPF sensor(s) and just need to trace the lines and check 2-3 times to make sure that it is the right line. I am not sure that this process is going to help you clean the oil ash, you perhaps need to email them to check what the product can do. You need pressurised air to pump in product, which you probably won't have either. And you must be able to initiate a static DPF regeneration.
