  1. Yes there's an update to 0369 I will send you a link shortly when I can.
  2. Engine/Gearbox mounts
  3. Hopefully these are what you need AQW engine
  4. Yes there is MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 0490 version, but please remember to write in English in the forum.
  5. VCDS/ODIS Service - Measuring DPF Lifespan or Soot values A guide I have put together to help you measure find your exhaust DPF lifespan or read in your Soot values VCDS Measuring DPF Lifespan or Soot values.pdf ODIS Service Measuring DPF Lifespan or Soot values.pdf
  6. VCDS/ODIS Service How to adapt a new battery A little guide I made to help you adapt a new battery to your vehicle VCDS How to adapt a new battery.pdf ODIS Service How to adapt a new battery.pdf
  7. The DPF will regen when either the Soot measured or the Soot calculated reads a certain value, so whichever gets there first. As for your measured, they shouldn't normally read a negative value, so might need adapting or cleaning of the tube down to the DPF. Odds are the remap has the car thinking that it has a loot of soot (calculated, not measured) being generated, when as mentioned the actual real measured values are perfect. This could be a limit of the car's actual ECU thinking it is making a lot of soot, potentially the ECU might need rolling back to a pre-NOx flash, and then tuned once more. 8. Yes 0253 is available, will send link via PM
  9. If you can wipe a rag/kitchen tissue around the inside of the tail pipe, it shouldn't in theory be very sooty. On some cars they can collapse iirc, so blocking the pipe potentially. It will be good if you can test that car battery to see if that is healthy, best of luck!
  10. I have often seen as have others, that a full to the brim tank that the needle will not move from F for a long time, once it starts moving it will move steady to 1/2 tank. Below 1/2 a tank I find it seems to accelerate. It's about tank curve profiles in software and other VAG such settings like that I would say. Only good way to measure consumption is brim to brim filling for accurate figures. Of course the car needs tyres inflated to correct values and servicing done on engine/dsg for it to achieve a sensible mpg.
  11. Thanks for providing extra information. Do you have the full log of faults? As I can see errors are elsewhere in the car, and anything could be of use. That smell could be DPF if equipped trying to do a regen. Are you able to get the battery health checked somewhere? There's a list of VCDS users on the forum that you might want to locate someone to help scan/see live data and do some testing.
  12. Protection against critters that nibble on wiring https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234288886190 VAG talk about 'Marten' damage to wiring in several documents. Marten damage often occurs in summer, as the animals' territorial behaviour is particularly pronounced during mating season. If a marten living in your car detects the scent of another marten, it becomes aggressive – and it bites into cables, hoses and anything else it can get between its teeth. Pine Marten
  13. I could be leading you up the garden path, but looking at your freeze frame data, you can see a lot of 10.85V stored when the fault occurs. If that value is your battery, then it's knackered and will be too low to supply a health Voltage to the control modules. Can you elaborate on how the fault occurs, meaning what are you doing and what do you experience. Example: "I leave the car overnight, try to start and it just turns over and doesn't fire, after a few tries it does and then runs rough"
  14. Here is the document about the car communication aerials Pages from D4B80773BE7-Communication.pdf

Only VAG know the limits, and they don't exactly advertise this amount. There is a test plan you can run in ODIS to check the lifespan, but I don't think it answers back a percentage either. Today I will look at my own car and check again at some point.

PD would measure oil ash in litres (not literal litres of oil though!) CR measure it in grams, limits are 80g or 100g etc (does depend on what is fitted to that model car) see edit below As mentioned by many, there is a % lifespan displayed. Also note that this has and always will be an estimation as this cannot be measured. A car that drinks excess oil, will still show the same value, but in reality the physical oil ash will be higher. The pressure sensor should be measuring the pressure before the DPF, the 2nd 'port' on the DPF sensor can be connected after DPF or to atmosphere. EDIT: You can use these as a rough conversion of the two measures. PD engines Generally expect to see 0.5 grams Ash per 1000 miles driven Common rail 2.0 engines Generally expect to see 1 ml per 1000 miles driven
  17. "Thank you very much" I understand now
  18. Ignore the missing file checksum, it will work without that, and should exist checksums in another file (cannot recall off top of head) Put it in the car, and use.
  19. Yes updates exist, but I am not sure that you should apply this at home. The MIB1, MIB2 process is simple and causes no trouble, but this system could be broken by an update at home. In short, I won't supply a file that might break your system.
  20. I would recommend having a 2nd place up your sleeve, this adaption/coding is simple task to do. You should as I have said, be able to simply drop in the new EFB and just enjoy it. (once you have cleaned up the terminals) Dash will look like an Xmas tree, but all good once you have done a simple calibration
  21. This is same as mine, no update beyond 0253.
  22. I guess they don't know how to use their tools, it's simple to swap if your tool can talk to the car. If you go with EFB, just fit yourself and don't worry about adapting the battery unless you trust them with the task.
  23. This should be the TPI where this wonderful "solution" exists Car used as a dummy, this should apply to Octavia/Karoq that share the technology 2062172.13 Travel Assist sporadically unavailable.pdf
