I find that my car leaves it too late to slow behind a slower car. It arrives at speed then plus the brakes on. I find my pulse quickening as we close on the car on front! Also going downhill I can hear the brakes being applied when I would have backed off the throttle about a quarter of a mile back. It's a very clever system but it can't anticipate the traffic like we can.

I have the 148hp 1.4 and the engine is very good. Everyone who travels in it can't believe it's only 1.4. It is extremely economical and for me the power is enough to keep up a good average speed.

ACC does not have to be activated. My car slammed on the brakes when a plastic bag blew over the grill, so I know mine works. If there was a problem with it I'm sure that you would get an error message.

The mirror has a light sensitive film over the glass so your best course of action is buy another mirror. Unless of course you can scrape the film off.
