  1. There is one on eBay for FM/GPS/GSM/DAB. £55 new + postage with best offer available. Search for 'Columbus DAB' and you should find it. Item 151680171966 is one of them.
  2. Looks very nice. Sunroof was at the top of my 'Yeti shopping list' and, like you, I'm glad I did. Great choice of first Skoda.
  3. I've left the Belkin in for days (with nothing connected to it) without any issues.
  4. I'm selling my hardly used Mont Blanc bike rack (an earlier version of the current RearTrek S3) as I no longer have my Octavia estate and am fitting a towbar to my Yeti for a bike rack and trailer. This rack was used for a one week holiday and for about 7 days out with the family so is still in excellent condition with all parts and instructions available. It is a great rack, chosen after much deliberation, as it lifts the bikes above the lights and number plate in order to keep it legal without a trailer board. It is very secure for all three bikes (bike to rack and rack to car) and pretty easy to use. Not the lightest of racks, but not the heaviest either. It is well made and very sturdy. It has the fitting kit (kit 3 / EasyGripS3) suitable for a range of cars and is specifically set up for a pre-FL Ocatvia estate (not the Vrs as that has a spoiler on the roofline). I also have obtained a replacement sheet of clear plastic coating in order to protect the paintwork at the bike rack mounting points. With a change of fitting kit (on Amazon for £13-16 each) it can be made to fit almost any car that does not have a roof spoiler. Stock photograph (real images to follow) of it on a Golf (very similar rear end to the Octavia estate): Any questions please ask. Collection can be arranged from Hereford / Worcester areas or I may be travelling further afield and can meet. I don't have enough bubble wrap to courier it out, but if you want to pay for the courier and wrapping materials I will do my best to protect it as best I can. Current version is well over £200 online, this is almost identical to the current one and in excellent condition and includes fitting kit 3. £125 collected.
  5. I got the bar from Skodateile and originally had their wiring loom. When that arrived it was obvious that the length of wire from the 'boot bung' to the 13 pin connector was too short so I asked to send it back. Ales is great and offered to send a genuine Skoda kit to me as soon as I returned their version to him. This has now happened and I just need to get to half term and find a dry day to get cracking. I will take pictures (I already have some of the rear bumper coming off when I made initial explorations with the first loom) and do a write up in my project thread. There is already a thread with pictures for fitting one with factory prep (I couldn't find the one on here so gave the link that I have).
  6. Are you prepared to DIY? I'm about to fit a Skoda towbar and electrics (no towbar prep) to my Yeti 4x4. Not anticipating any difficulties as long as I can get the terminals out of the fuseboard and relays.
  7. Still for sale, but a little dustier than in the pictures!
  8. Thanks for this. I am currently searching for parts on this as the seal on the tap is warped and squashed. I'm not sure if this is the reason for the coolant loss or not though, but I'll either be replacing the seal or the whole unit. Depends upon what I can find.
  9. There's a group buy on here for new keys and programming. Will be cheaper than the dealer.
  10. Fair point - I misread the original message. Sorry. In which case, that makes it a pretty good deal.
  11. Or buy it from Gendan for £270 + free postage and no import duty... http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCHU.html Or Ilexia with free next day delivery for £270 http://www.ilexa.co.uk/acatalog/vagcom.html?gclid=CL3fq_OWxsUCFSsEwwodk2oANA Just for information - You are obviously allowed to buy from wherever you choose!
  12. That's no problem at all. I was passing within a few miles a way so it made sense to drop in.
  13. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts on this. Afraid to say that I found out today that I have not got an interview for this job! Obviously very disappointed, but also relieved that the decision is out of my hands.
  14. Nothing to gain from going beyond 4020 so I'd stop there. Is the part number 3T0...B or is it a 'Revision B' (which is different)?
  15. I have had the same Belkin one for about three years with no issues. Often leave it plugged in (nothing connected) without issues.
  16. The non-DAB ones are coming down very quickly recently. Down to about £350 or so.
  17. There was one on eBay last week for £400!!! Only the SSD ones are still at the £650-700 mark. The HDD ones are nearer £550. Still expensive over a standard one 3T0...A (about £300-350 now)
  18. There was a change in late 2010 (I think) from the CEGA Diesel engine.
  19. There's one for sale here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/348001-for-sale-skoda-leather-4-spoke-mfsw/#entry4244523 Nothing to do with me... I forgot to say you'll need a new airbag loom if you go for a MFSW. I have an unused one for sale.
  20. If you are anywhere near Hereford, I'd be happy to help.
  21. You'll need a new steering controller (located under the steering cowling). This is relatively easy to change, but you'll need to know what the the current one is in order to find a suitable replacement (about £60-80 used). That will need coding with VCDS - look at the VCDS Owners Map on here to find someone local to help you with that for a few beers.
  22. Have you considered a MFSW? It's not much more cost or effort.
