  1. Ross gets my vote - double DIN DVD player for the girls! Way to go dude! Chicks over invisible racey things anyday - when I was a lad anyway.
  2. I did not know that. SsangYong Rodius
  3. Someone asked this before but I didn't see an answer - do you open your browsers from icons on the desktop or taskbar? If so have you tried via Start then programs & then opening the browser from there? Could be your shortcuts are broken. If that works delete the shortcuts & then right click on the browser icons in the program list & chose 'send to desktop as shortcut' If that doesn't work do you have working email on the PC? If so you could get someone to email you chrome or firefox zipped up for a fresh browser install.
  4. I personally don't like the fella but it was a joke & has been subsequently broadcast or quoted out of context. We are lucky to live in a country where it couldn't be anything more than a joke. My link
  5. Go for it! I've been in this place at the start/end of a few ski-touring trips & believe me - in the sauna or steam room a bikini is classed as over-dressed! Mind you it's all ages & dudes as well!
  6. Dude - what does she do in winter?
  7. Chin up old boy - even oiks can go skiing these days!
  8. That'll be me then! Whato! Bulgaria Norway & Scotland
  9. Keep it another 2-3 years then sell it to me! My old man has a CR-V - more bells & whistles for sure but I wouldn't swap.
  10. Add the Gimp to paint.net & picasa & you should be able to do most things (& for free)
  11. I am an old git. Christmas is as expensive as you make it.

    Fog Lights

Prompted by this thread I've been more aware of front fog light offenders but got to say haven't been dazzled - they are just to low down to do that, unless of course maladjusted. I find some of the DRL's on big 4x4's harder on the eye. But as folk say they are breaking the law but so is someone driving over the speed limit. I see many more folk doing that.
  13. +1 for Romax. Paid £160 for 4 with tyres off. Would be £200 otherwise. My tyre fitter obligingly took the old tyres of for me & fitted the winters once they were refurbed.
  14. It was 2 minutes before I realised that kid was meant to be doing that! Doh!

    Fog Lights

+1 for the bikers perspective. I think it's a depth of field thing. Coming up on you in outer lane Bike (or car with a headlight out) blocking your view of one headlight on the vehicle behind them can make it look like 1 vehicle behind you rather than 2, especially in heavy rain/spray. I use my front fog lights in non-foggy conditions from time to time (zips up flak jacket) - for example, in the pitch black, going over roads like Hardknot Pass with hair-pin bends & 1:4's with big rocks & pot holes right on the verge.
  16. The interior looks like one of those cheap 1990's hi-fi's.
  17. If someone overtakes me at speed that's fine by me but if they come too close up my arse, pass to close or cut in too quickly I may well give them a flash or toot (as said usually Audi/BMW). When I see other folk flashing overtakers it seems to be for the same reason. I do a lot of miles & do my share of overtaking I'll admit to the odd bad judgement on my part over 30+ years of driving & when I've been flashed when overtaking it's usually been for same reason.
  18. Good luck getting that sorted. That is borderline criminal damage.
  19. Photobucket works fine on ebay. If you don't do html just do as Vlad says. You can then switch to standard view to add some text & format with the options available. I'm an ebay powerseller - if they put their prices up so may I. I still rate it as a excellent venue for buying/selling over any other UK options - free or otherwise.
