This is what you want on the Yeti tow hitch, it's the Germans' idea of caravanning.........

Skoda can expect a visit from the top VW execs soon.... -
Yes johann, Seat seem to be hitting the sweet-spot with their design language. Sorry Marie, back to your roadtrip.....

Thanks for that link johann, hadn't seen it before. It endorses my thoughts that this car is attractive and a direct threat to the Golf 7. VAG claim it is cheaper than the Golf but that is due to the lower spec. If you want the FR with a comparable spec to the Golf 7 then it works out to be more expensive but they don't tell you that.........

LED lights on new Leon, will soon be mainstream I think........
-
True johann, the Golf V1 was introduced quickly because the Golf V was too expensive to manufacture. They could make a Golf V1 six hours quicker than a Golf V. It seems to me that VW control their range as not to compete against each other and yes the Yeti will probably be only a facelift this time....
-
Maybe true johann, but is doesn't negate VW's tactics...

If this is the case the Yeti will be the only VAG model left on the old platform. To show how VW works the new Golf 7 is available with a 150 bhp engine with multi-link rear suspension and the anti-collision front radar as standard which reduces your Insurance by 3 groups. On the other hand the New Leon only gets the multi-link with 180 bhp and above and the anti-collision is not available as an option. This makes the Leon more expensive than the Golf....direct competitor...clever or what!..........
