  1. Just bought a Prestigio Roadrunner DVR (on dash camera). It has cool option to start REC at ignition on, and stop recording when ignition is off. But seems that cig.lighter socket remains live all the time. Cigarete adapter is rated at 5V@1A. 1. Is there any way to turn off 12V lighter socket in ignition off state? 2. Will it drain Yeti accu after few days of non-driving?
  2. Yeti 1.4TSI is much more responsive on highways, I drove them both on long trips. In city I cannot tell the much differnce between 1.4 and 1.2 EDIT: 1.4 is quieter than 1.2
  3. In that pic it looks like Aqua BLue color. Did You HDR it? Nice pics!
  4. I dont need GTU to tell me that!

    Two Yeti family

Wellcome to the club, I was in similar situation with sale of wifes Fabia 1 year ago, and altought she want Fiesta I turned her decision in favour of another Yeti. So I give her 1.2 and buy myself a 1.4TSI win-win
  6. I think I saw more Lamborghinis than X1 on the street.
  7. MPG will go lower after running in the engine.
  8. Yes, altought there is 3 stars out of 5 on whatcar, reviews is pretty much positive. Against Excessive wind- and road noise; unsettled ride. Wind noise is there, but I cannot say it is unsettled ride, at all. They should compare it with other SUVs, and Yetis ride is in differnet league, more like C segment car.
  9. +383% I see more and more yetis over here in Serbia, reality is Yeti have good reputation and good internet reviews. EDIT: I cannot remember bad review for Yeti when I bought first one.
  10. Ive seen uglier bridge than that.
  11. I noticed there is a pattern for CL, even if you disable it in MAXIDOT: When I arrive on destination with my car, and left it unlocked, it will never lock itself. But, if I locked it after exiting Yeti, and later want to take something from car, unlock it and go away.. it will lock itself after some time. EDIT: Good thing is Yeti doesnt unlock itself, never
  12. I dont understand, You were yelling about small boot in Yeti 7 days ago and consider to sell it, and now You bought GOlf!?
  13. Over here that Lada is most capable offroader in the snow. Small, agile and capable for any terrain. In the summer, [bad english] it doesnt stand high temperatures and use to boil water in radiator.[/bad english] Its a brick with no comfort at all, so I would never consider it If Yeti would have slow gear and permanent 4x4 selection, it would be a offraod king!
  14. Tnx, already have 2 Yetis, but I would like to see larger offroader from Skoda in 1-2 years.
  15. I'm dreaming about 2.0TSI in Yeti. Only worth upgrade next year

    Yeti 1.4 tsi

Suspension is subjective thing, depending what you drove before. Yes, it is stiffer than my previous car, but for a high SUV car, its great. COnsumption will go down after 2000km, but luggage box is to blame for higher consumption for sure. My consumption went normal after 500km, but I decided to running the engine hard right after exiting Skoda dealer.
  17. Even with 2WD, Yeti never stops to impress me @offroad.
  18. In short, 1.4 engine is better, lower consumption.. quiter. Pulls much better than 1.2 But, 1.2 TSI is price/performance king..
  19. There is 1 pic of my 3spk here: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/144075-yeti-forum-members-picture-thread/page__view__findpost__p__2484695

    Yeti smash

This is most dramatic "moscow drive" I've recently saw:

    yeti mpg

    1.4TSI: 38mpg, B roads. 1.2TSI: 36mpg, B roads.

    Lost key

60 EUR for replacement/programming here. Skoda service also told me that even if somebody found the lost key, he will be able to enter in the car by mannualy unlock it but wont be able to start the engine.
