Which car do u have the h&r cup kit on ... I'm looking to do this on a non vrs ... So as of now my ride is quite good ... If I go for a very sporty kit (from the name - cup kit - I assume) wont it make the ride a tad bit hard ... Im just shooting in te dark ... I don't have any real experience ... But this is my first suspension upgrade and don't want it to be a spoiler ... Because I need a suspension that can also soak up bumps and pot holes without crashing .!

I've read that the eibachs have a more of a forgiving ride than the h&r ... I wasn't aware that the b12 came with eibachs springs ... The drop with the b6 and h&r is about 30mm ... Any idea of the drop with the b12 ? I was aware of the group buy ... But I'm not in the UK ... So would've been a pain, Getting them shipped ...

The b6 and the b12 I've short listed, since they are easier to source ... So what do you suggest ? For a better all round capabilities ?

A straightforward question ! Money no object .. which is the better option ? the B6 with h& springs or the b12 kit ? Looking for - 1) A lowered ride height 2) better cornering 3) Not a very hard ride on less than perfect roads.

For the rear ones there is already a Cut out at the back of the front seats ... In order to route the wire ... When u take your driver s seat (assuming RHD) all the way back ... You will see a small flap like opening already cut out in the carpet on the right hand side ... The wires can be routed through that ... Jus remember to give the wire enough slack ... So that it's not stretched when moving the seat front or back ..

Led Number plate lights - Now Supported on the FL ?
pz1811 replied to pz1811's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Mike, does that mean that if we could tell the car that led s are fitted then it would nt show the bulb warning error right ? because, anyways it was a voltage issue that caused the warning to come on ! -
I would love to get lowering springs .. drop it down to 145 mm. But the whole idea of keeping these 15" wheels was to not ruin the ride ... And im told that the lowering springs will make the ride harsh .. so havent really got an option.. Thanks for the link though !

I have a 1.8 tsi in India. Here the standard ride height is 165 mm as opposed to the more natural 145 mm in the EU. Anyways I running on the standard 15" pyxis wheels with 195/65 rubber. Now I want to shift to 205/60 R15 (recommended on the fuel filler flap) If I do this, will the gap in the arches look even more since im reducing the sidewall height from 65 to 60 ? anyways my car looks ridiculous with the current gap in the arches .. don't want to increase it any further !

My stutter... any ideas how to cure it?
pz1811 replied to mudgery's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
This might not be of any help ... But here goes ... Last month I was on a 400km round trip in my 1.8tsi and after 200 kms it developed a stutter exactly between 1900 and 2000 rpm, but as soon as the turbo kicked in all was fine ... I took it to the Skoda workshop and I was given a new engine update (CDAA) and after that the problem hasn't occurred and the car's running smoother than ever .. -
No, that's not the case ... I have the standard auto switch ... With four positions Off, auto, sidelights & headlights And I'm very sure that atleast the fl doesn't have any extra switch on the dash to operate the drls. Also I would just like to add that inorder to have what the OP wants you need a headlight with auto position.
