oops sorry charlie i wasn't ignoring you i may have forgotten you have posted on here! im still around on here a fair bit, maybe more now days than when i had the audi. new car is something i cant mod but i do keep getting the temptation to put tax back on the octy and use it a bit! do miss modding a car! Anyway the onto the new car, some already know what i bought and some dont so.. i said i didn't want black, no DPF and no diesel, so i bought a 61 plate Range Rover 4.4TDV8 so yep i bought, a black car thats diesel and has a DPF but i am over the moon with it! it has pretty much every option possible on it, with the dealer fit Range Rover body kit and electric side steps and i finally decided it was time to buy a plate that suited me so yep thats pretty much where i am, im still here i may even pop over for the AMD rolling road day on the 26th October weather i will be in the octavia and get my name down to go on the RR or if i just pop over to say hello im unsure -
caught a little view of this parked up at the new forest meet in the pub but didnt manage to have a proper look (more concentrating on going inside for a drink!) looks good! do miss both my fabia's :( haha next time i see it i will stop and have a proper look

At the end of the day if they actually believe that the reason the turbo broke was because of your car then they would never repair it not even once so sounds like a load of rubbish they are making up! Hope everything is well charlie and it is back with more power soon!

as Jars says the weekend is very close! who is down early? (friday or saturday) Im down from tomorrow will be at the plough in the evening. Jars unfortunately i will be doing my own thing saturday as i did think the exact same thing about a ride out to bournemouth but everyone will have the same idea! so have chosen to sort a few things out at our house before my friends get down and most likely i will give up in the afternoon and end up at the pub again! haha

Apd007 as said, please phone to pre book the camping, 01425610185 just ask to book for a tent for the date, also let them know you are to do with the 'car people' (this is what i have named you all as its easier than explaining the whole Briskoda thing to them in the pub! haha)

so havent really been around much, pop on the forum every now and again, done a couple bits to the audi sorted the wheels and lots of plastidipping. But now the time has come and unfortunately the car is up for sale.. everything about the car is great but the DPF just doesnt suit my weekday driving style and i really really really want a petrol again.. this time V8 we will see where all this goes... -
It is a tad noisy at idle haha

so yesterday i decided it was about time i sorted the fornt grille as i wasnt happy with the chrome but dont have the money for the RS5 grille yet so got some plastidip to give it a go started with some masking which anyone in a bodyshop would be gob smacked about! on with some colour (well black..) peeled off the excess and let it cut itself in the gaps around the grille just like the videos show then it was too dark so waited till today gave the car a good clean for the 2nd time since sunday the outcome... -

Shark say 280 bhp and 570 nm once i get the dpf off and an exhaust then it should make 300 bhp and 600 nm drives so nice now! The pull in second is incredible (i now have to discredit 1st as it hits the red line before you have had a chance to think! Putting your foot down round bends in the road in 2nd now makes the traction control go mad! -

so at 8pm this evening i turned up at Robs house (W8 Performance) he plugged in his laptop to my car sent off the file of my ecu to Shark Performance, they are on odd hours at the moment as Ben at Shark is apparently in New York so as we was not within the hours they had said we decided to take the car for a spin as Rob hadn't been in it yet, while out for a drive Robs phone went off, a message for Shark saying my map was uploaded and ready to go! so quickly back to Robs he put it on and we went for another drive... just one word.. WOW Massive thanks to the Shark Performance guys for doing my map out of hours even when on holiday! Also once again thanks to Rob @ W8 Performance for sorting it all out! Would strongly recommend that anyone that needs anything for their cars give W8 Performance a call! a really helpful guy and can source pretty much anything thats needed! -
Charlie whats happening with all the carbon bits?! Haha
