Getting to that time of year again, basically looking to put my car into "winter mode" and need some tyres for my 16" alloys. looking for something that will give good grip in wet/ slushy conditions, car doesn't get used in full snow. is it worth changing from the 205/45R16 tyre recommended for the fabia? eg going narrower or increasing the tyre wall? there's a red fabia 2 in aberdeen with similar decor and my gf wanted one in black with a chess board roof.

Mine on 18" in matt black (one off colour, normally gloss)
