  1. Typhoons seriously smashed the MIG29's in India though they were both refrained from using certain features but its still the best info available. The Typhoon is the only aircraft to have consistantly scored kills on F22's at red flag over multiple years, the F22 hold the largest Kill ratio of all participants at Redflag but if your prepaired to go big you can overwelm them with sheer weight of numbers. The russians would be beaten technically but they have numbers on their side in a big way. but by the time it gets to that level of combat we're talking World War 3 and we may as well find our loved ones and wait for the flash.
  2. The other possible reason for your issues could be if you have a corrupted memory sector, on the hard disk or the ram though finding out if that is the case is a bit of a PITA.
  3. Yes thats the idea to completely blank the hard disk and then only install the programs you actually use. It also has other benifits such as you take out some of the scrap code from windows and fragmentation on the storage device. While a defrag will help I'd still back up anything important first as windows defrag can corrupt files especially pictures.
  4. As for what you can kill from task manager google is your freind. Also if its as origonal after that long you would probably realy benifit from a clean instilation of windows if you have the origonal install disk etc this is fairly easy but if it was a bought PC that might be more difficult.
  5. For 10k its a 350Z i'm affraid, I'm only driven the 370 which is supposedly the better handelling car but it can realy handle, like I shouldn't have got away with that and its a cracking engine. 350 is same idea just not quite as refined which may suit your requirements more. The killer for me was insurance :'( sooo too much Nissain servicing aint cheap the sales man made a big point of that, but at that age its probably less of an issue. Also what about an MX5 and adding the missing power, if you can do that in budget?
  6. Its been coming for a while And the S1 and Polo R are actually on a modified PQ25 platform from what I can gather as not al of the the reviews agree. http://www.audi.co.uk/new-cars/a1/s1/specifications.html
  7. Your drawing conclusions from the old outgoing RS3 model and applying them to the new MQB based cars which are even the reviewers say in a different class. Also that's one reviewer on a dry day everyone (reviewers included) who's driven the M135I in the rain says its bad/scary. Also whats with all the wind noise in the BMW? Edited to separate replies
  8. Anyone who seriously believes this isn't Putin finally putting into practice his long standing military expansion plan to retake the USSR "defector states" is clearly in need of sanctioning under the mental health act. If you seriously believe that Russia or China are better countries to lead the world, why have you not moved there, away from the west with its puppet politicians? War is almost inevitable where ideologies meet, Russia has always been a dictator ship and even after the break up of the USSR due to it essentially being bankrupt, those in power never lost out they just appointed themselves owners of state entities as part of the new "democratic" Russia. Once they had control of the money controlling the politics was easy. Russia has been back up to its old cold war tricks for a number of years now its just not news that is sexy or will generate buzz so no one reports it. Russia has also spent millions rearming, and even more its never published. To answer why does it take the west millions of dollars to achieve what Russia and China do for so much less, because we actually design and build our own new technology not just wait and see what the west will come up with and make our interpretation of it, or steal the designs and copy them.
  9. Especially taking the **** with the price when that spec on the VW website £38,840 on the road price. VW have a 250 bhp Polo R in the works but I didn't think that was due out yet, right sort of price though
  10. Should also sound quality. Though 41k is rather milking it even going options crazy my day dreaming spec was 36k. Most thinks are lighter than a fabia by not having the cast iron lump of a pd engine.
  11. Where did you find a Mk7 Golf R? And yes they are are quick, really an Audi S3 without the badge. New RS3 is 360 bhp plus if you believe the mags to beat the A45 AM
  12. No personal experience but it was described to me as the evo is twitch on the edge the baru is a little more forgiving. Though listening to one of my mates whos just bought the hatch shape he seamed to imply that the engine is a time bomb. Though that might be because he's wanting 400 bhp out of it.
  13. My impression is that as far as Westminster is concerned if it doesn't have a London post code why bother. They regard Scotland as full of ungrateful upstarts trying to steal their oil not Scotland's or the UK's only parliaments oil.
  14. Unless the apex contains a solid object its more of an advisory line for the sheeple drivers
  15. This is also one of the reasons I find politicians claims that we are better together hollow if even people in England feel disenfranchised. Maybe if this independence thing works out profitable "Scotland" might expand. Then again if it actually works how long will it be before the Westminster mafia decide they need to get they want a piece of the pie.
  16. This is my point I don't see westminister agreeing to what the SNP are likely to agree too. The SNP will want continuation of the border, westminister will want proportion of population so they are not going to agree at which point it goes to UNCLOS for resolution which is likely to be done under Artical 15, i came to this by following the ifs through section 3, Annex 5, Annex 6, Annex 7,Resolution 3 its a lot of reading but to me it appears to be pretty clear cut, but I'm no lawyer and definatly not a euro lawyer. As an aside I'd like to know why proportion of population has anything to do with what is digging things up from the ground?
  17. What I get for trying to type it out on my phone instead of the laptop as I can't see what I have typed.
  18. That is precisely what uni has been reduced to, its about money not about the leaening. Though trust me its worse going back and dealing with the ineptitude of the uni and the nieveity of students while working
  19. 1 I didn't say he was not, but hes also polotician so I take it as a given politicians can't be trusted, I was mearly pointing out that some (mostly westminister political) reporters have been making statements that either indicate sloppy work or they are just reading the political spin statement verbatium without question. 2 Can I ask you to clarify exactly what you mean by quota? I've heard a few west minister/london reports say this but not explain what they are on about. And as to negotiation its not a negotioation its fairly strait up legal ruling UNCLOS which the UK has ratified and is obligated to abide by or they have to convince a UN court to deviate from that (which would take a bloody good reason) says the line is the point of equidistance.
  20. The longer this goes on the more they look like children. Also can someone explain to me why mister Osborne should be trusted more than the governor of the bank of England who said that a currency union was the way forward. I know both sides are guilty of not telling the whole truth but this " I'm taking my football and going home" just because you don't like the other team is getting annoying. And yes the white paper was an embarrassing farse clearly writen by people without a clue on defence. But some English commentators are not helping by presenting their ill informed opinions as fact. If they keep it up they may well get independence vote just because people are sick of the games.
  21. As long as you stick to the 190 engine your ok the 140 my mate had drank oil like it ran on the stuff like it makes the oil use that people got new engines in fabia's and polo's look like sipping oil I remember something like 5 liters in 5000 miles. Its something to do with the 140 having poorly designed piston rings and oil ways.
  22. Quite frankly if the independence vote goes through. The RAF are going to have such a long lost of issues to deal with. As critical parts of the typhoons, tornadoes are made and repaired in Scotland. The defence industry is maybe not that big but because of that independence will be a big deal. Companies can plan all they like if the people with the knowledge and skills won't move the two governments are going to have one hell of a job getting them selves out of the **** storm they have made. Also if anyone thinks that this is just a UK issue its not even the USA will be taking them both round the back of the bar for a talking too if they do not get their **** together soon.

Can Must say having done this trip its great fun but seriously driving to the ferry its only a 2-3 trip and then driving all the way to Prague on your own is not a great idea, its a long time for someone to be driving alone. Personaly while doksy was ok I wouldn't time the trip especially around it.
  24. Its sadly the state of the UK today that the victims rights are less than secondary in all matters. I remember when I left school after the 5th and 6th year of high school the teachers thanking us for making the school a better place. We as pupils had more power and ability to act than they did. On more than one occasion I remember the teachers leaving the area so that we could deal with the latest miscreant. It is shocking that the quality and morality of a school is now in the hands of its senior pupils instead of the staff. But find someone who has an older child that can be relied upon to make sure the miscreant is repaid in kind as that will always be more effective than anything the school will ever dare to attempt.
  25. Bamn dude its bad that it happened but you will be wiser for it remember when I had my first crash. I does actually make you a better driver.
