I'm just interested as I find it kind of funny that Li-Ion batteries can only be carried as hazardous material in limit mass yet it safe to sell cars containing 200Kg of Li-Ion batteries to joe public to drive about in? I'm not against moving on from petrol cars but I'd rather some basic safety issues were addressed. Few people will realise but from what I remember no fire brigade currently carries equipment to contain a Li-Ion fire, you can not put out a Li-Ion fire, it is genuinely scary when you see how difficult it is to contain out a Li-Ion fire.

Two real reasons most of the Mk7 golfs actually come with a fairly reasonable list of equipment ok its nit got everything and the extras are more. The clip your refering to is not an actuall clip its actually just a push fit piece of plastic over a slightly smaller piece. Poor design but cheap.

If yours is solid its how it should be the issue is some are not so secure and with the rough roads it slowly shakes itself off the grill piece it connects to so it drops into the space below and hence starts sucking air from just behind the radiator

It's not so much about airflow its about having a cold air intake as standard and the pipe falling off and then sucking air through the radiator instead which can't be helping engine temps or performance.

If the pipe is coming off under its own weight it needs replaced, mine did though it took some arguing with the dealers to get it sorted though until they send one of the young techies to speak to me, great lad and he got it ordered and replaced with a new one which is solid.

The other thing to take into account is why is it being sold as having a quick look at the decor and the bathrooms to wet room's conversion, I'd say it was an older person's home, who may have moved into care, etc in which case I can't see the families priority being on selling the house.
