  1. I'm surprised you can see their hair under the hat Silver...
  2. The Kodiaq for the younger generation...no options for pipe and slipper storage or head rest coat hanger to be seen here...
  3. 37 week delivery for a 1.4/1.5 petrol according to one dealer...
  4. "They can't add it until they know the OTR (and, therefore, the CO2) figure." To be fair Skoda don't know that for most of the MY19 Kodiaq range...try ordering one...
  5. SUK advised me this morning that MY19 begins 30th July so prices should be available very soon (I took it that meant next week) and therefore orders could then be placed.
  6. What is the delivery quoted on that NB? I’ve looked at that spec myself...
  7. Told by a dealer today that prices still haven’t been released... Perhaps the MY19 Kodiaq should be renamed the Yeti...everyone has heard of it but no one has seen it...and you certainly can’t buy it...
  8. I had the same dilemma coming out of an Octavia 150. Was very tempted by the Superb but it looked too ordinary IMHO in anything but Sportline trim (although the SEL had all the toys). I also believe the Superb will have a face lift next year. I fancied a change so have just pulled the trigger on a Kodiaq 5 seat 1.5 SEL 2WD.
  9. After getting bored of waiting for the order books to open for the Kodiaq I'm now considering a Sportline and came across this thread. The ride comfort is important so it's interesting to read all the opinions which lead me to the conclusion that DCC is a worthwhile option.
  10. Wow! That's a nice looking vehicle. Running boards make it look that bit lower. I bet it's good to see the result of all the time and effort putting the spec together. Enjoy!
  11. My Moon White bizarrely hides dirt...it can go a couple of weeks without a wash..
  12. I asked SUK as recently as last week and got a standard-not interested-can't be bothered to find out answer of the 1.4 is still available on the configurator and should you wish to order please contact your local dealer. My company car is now up for renewal and I wanted a Kodiaq 1.5 (if the engine change is to be believed) but it seems Skoda haven't got a clue what to tell the market...
  13. Ah Wiggo! Is it you who arranged all those overhead smart motorway gantry's?
  14. I might just put the kettle on tomorrow, get the Jammie Dodgers ready and do that.....it is garbage though.....
  15. I did copy and paste Skoda's own press release (the L&K announcement including the new 1.5) but judging by the way its worded I get the feeling that the office junior has the job of replying to emails at SUK
  16. Here is a reply today from SUK reference the 1.5; "I have discussed your query with our Product Marketing Team, and they have advised currently there is no release date for the 1.5 TSI engine to be introduced to the ŠKODA KODIAQ range in the immediate future. Unfortunately, I am unable to advise if the emissions will be the same as the ŠKODA KAROQ. I am sincerely sorry for any disappointment that this may cause."
  17. Feel for you Harry, I'd be gutted. As probably the second largest purchase anyone can make and a reliability necessity these issues really shouldn't arise. Shame on the dealer/Skoda..
  18. Would be interested to know what deal you end up with Silver
  19. Well done Silver! Did the dealer throw in the mud flaps and side steps too?
  20. I agree with the engine/gearbox observation Mark and it's a good point. The Pug has a couple of nice colour and wheel choices and I like the black roof option. If only Skoda were a little more daring but I suppose that's the job of the boys at Seat... Having said that Skoda are reassuringly understated and reliable...
  21. What was it that attracted you to the 5008 Mark? I must admit the gadgets and dash along with the modern looks (before anyone has a pop it's subjective I know) are the plus points. The 5008 is a bit boxy on the downside and expensive compared to the Kodiaq.
  22. I can't bring myself to drive a Peugeot since a 3008 SW we once owned almost burnt a clutch out at West Midlands Safari Park...the dealership was cack too...
  23. If you believe some of the reviews you will purchase a Peugeot 5008 rather than a Kodiaq...
  24. There is a thread entitled "Help with wheels please" posted on 21st March which should help
  25. A difference of £400 pa or £33 a month Wiggo.....damn HMRC....a company car is not a perk anymore!
