headlight connector problem
Cheaper than a new headlight, though. Have you checked whether you get all the connectors on a new headlight? You might get the bare headlight with no connector or mounting.

headlight connector problem
It looks as though there was sparking between the bulb and the connector, the sparking has caused erosion with the attendant heat which has cooked the plastic.

Fitted some Nightbreakers in the dips, what an easy job compared to the Fabia Mk3. You can get your hands in and they just pop out and in.

Octavia III Estate - Feedback from 5 years on the road
I presume from this comment that you mean the rear goes down more than it used to when the trunk is full, if that is the case, it is the rear springs that need changing , as they are weakening.

Spare wheel foam
Just for interest, this will not fit a 16" full size spare without a fair amount of fettling, you have to chop half the bottom off and remove bits from the side. This part number was fitted to a 2016 1.4tsi sel with 18" space saver.http://www.catcar.info/audivw/?lang=en&l=c3RzPT17IjEwIjoiQnJhbmQiLCIyMCI6IlNLT0RBIiwiNDAiOiJPY3RhdmlhIEV1cm9wZSIsIjUwIjoiMjAxOSIsIjYwIjoiQWNjZXNzb3JzIiwiNzAiOiIwMTIwMCJ9fHxzdD09NzB8fGJyYW5kPT1za3x8bWFya2V0PT1DWnx8bWRsPT1PQ1QgIHx8RXBpcz09ODA1fHxFaW5zYXR6PT0yMDE5fHxNYWluR3JvdXA9PTB8fEJpbGR0YWZlbD09MDEyMDB8fEdyYWZpaz09MDAxMjAwNzQ2

What would you change about your Octavia?
Rear seat bases on the estate that fold forward as per the Fabia mk3 estate.

Spare Wheel or Repair Kit
I've currently got a skinny space saver, bought a Golf Mk7 original steel full size spare today which matches the wheels I've got on. I haven't had a puncture for years but having a proper spare gives you a chance of getting to your destination in a reasonable time.

Car Seats that fit Skoda Citigo
Having had both, the answer is yes to the comfort.

No PID slot
There are definitely versions that don't have the blanking plate, I saw several hire cars with a plain dash a few years ago in Cyprus and was quite surprised as I had just got my Citigo.

Failed MOT - missing heat shield
My citigo does not have this. I think it is a LPG tank item only. If you click on the part no in the link it says LPG only.

It may be that the clutch fingers on the old one were totally cream crackered and very soft and, therefore, the new one feels very stiff.

Potential new Octavia owner
I don't think you can assume the brake fluid and gearbox fluids have been changed. The Skoda service paperwork shows the dealer that did the services. It may be worth phoning them and asking them to tell you what was done on each service. The cambelt change views differ considerably, from country to country, dealer to dealer, 5 years change to 140,000km check. There have been numerous discussions on this on here, try the search" cambelt change".

Has anyone one had experience of the above combination? Is there enough clearance round the caliper?
