  1. This is what I ordered in 2023 to go on the blue car, subsequently fitted to the red one, Complete wheel for SKODA Fabia 5J(6V), '14 - '18, 1.2 TSI, 1197 cmc, 66 KW / 90 PS with rim ALCAR 6Jx15 5/100 38 6 x 15 (LK 5/100, 57.00, ET 38)and tyre Nankang Cross Seasons AW-6 185/60 R15 88H XL. The trims are these, the part number is in fact as shown on my photo. I got the number wrong, too many old covers lying around in the garage, got it right this time, I pulled this one off the car.
  2. 1) The wheel bolts are fine. 2) The black steels are great as long as you make sure you get the right offset. 3) The TPMS do not have sensors on the wheels. 4) My Tyres do a good selection of wheels with the tyres fitted and balanced at good prices. 5) If you can get these wheel covers 1UO 601147C and get some new centre badges off Ebay they do the job a treat. (See my post in Fabia register)
  3. Bought the 15 plate 110bhp se in March last year but my wife started struggling with the clutch due to arthritis in her left knee. Changed it for an 18 plate 110bhp se dsg end of July this year. Much happier wife. Can't say I'm over keen on the dsg but it serves the purpose well. The alloys are sitting in the garage as I fitted my set of steels with cross season tyres.

  6. I have the Kopacek grill covers for both my petrol fabia and octavia. You do get a faster warm up but my answer to iced windows is a 2kw fan heater for 15/20 minutes switched on with a smart plug via Alexa. At one time, on an old passat estate, I fitted a caravan plug to the outside of the car so I didn't have a lead going through the door seal. I fitted the sound deadening to my octavia and it does quieten it a little.
  7. The Mk2 0ne may fit, the main part of the part no is the same. The prefix is different as is the suffix, but the main part 867 871 is the same.
  8. Slightly off topic. but does anyone know the part number for the the bit of plastic on the LHS as per the non false floor fitment?.
  9. I suspect the OP hasn't got the false floor.
  10. That's the one. Fitted with Cross Climates, split boot, boot cover strings and various other bits that you can see on the photos. It went in with a set of carpet mats as well, along with a Heko grill cover. It does have the clutch click but I didn't notice it after a while.
  11. I traded my 2014 Citigo SE Greentech, with 21k on the the clock, FSH, with various extras that I added. I don't think it's going out in the trade so if anyone is looking for a good 'un it might be worth a call to them.
  12. Picking this one up on Wednesday all being well. 2015 1.2tsi se 110bhp with 35k on the clock. Virtually all bells and whistles fitted. Replacement for my Citigo which has served perfectly for 5 years.
  13. This the estate with 16" wheels and 205/55-16 tyres, VW trims with Skoda badges applied.
  14. 18" wheels and tyres are less comfortable as the sidewalls on the tyres are smaller, therefore less compliant. I went the other way, took 17" off and fitted 16", much more comfortable and less prone to damaging wheels in potholes. This all assuming you fit the correct tyres to keep your speedo correct.
  15. I have a 16 plate 1.4 Tsi with the manual 6 speed box and can quite understand why people go for the DSG, It gets hard work changing gear at times and really the only reason I am persevering is that otherwise it's a cracking motor with under 30k on the clock.
  16. You can always drill the head of the screw to the extent that you can get the disk off. Normally a pair of self grips will turn the screw as the heat destroys the bond. Fit new screw with new disk.
  17. Get your independent to check it for water content and change if required.
  18. 2 miles after passing the MOT the rear left indicator threw a wobbly. Took everything to bits expecting a blown bulb. No, the contact for the side of the bulb had broken at the top, but not fallen out. Kitchen foil bodge time, jammed the foil between the contact and the bulb and everything now works without throwing up any faults. A touch of grease on the pins helps the light unit go back in, otherwise they are a swine to get in.
  19. Anything over 2kg they won't send to UK.
  20. Fabia Mk3 6V0061580 perfect fit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184942108466?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338343596&toolid=10001&customid=eb%3Ag%3Avms%3Aeb%3Ap%3A184942108466%3BCjwKCAiA6Y2QBhAtEiwAGHybPaY0KtlrDB-J4wMs6BlZ5BWr_0gQTZMoNfBcKvwjtuNX0SoZebg69BoCjg8QAvD_BwE&gclid=CjwKCAiA6Y2QBhAtEiwAGHybPaY0KtlrDB-J4wMs6BlZ5BWr_0gQTZMoNfBcKvwjtuNX0SoZebg69BoCjg8QAvD_BwE
