They were always dearer here in Ireland. In 2012 a Vrs tdi was €29k so I think u uk guys got a bigger price increase with the new mklll Vrs. Also don't forget we get a full spec in Ireland as u guys have to add options.

U won't buy an 11 for 18k not a hope. A good 11 reg is making 21k Also an 09 facelift are very rare in Ireland. A 2010 is ur best bet on that budget. U should get a good one for 17k.

I can see people's points and i do agree. The mklll vrs is nice but I do think the materials used are a step back on the interior. I also think its gone very passat like. I only have my 2012 vrs cr a few months and quiet pleased with it all round. The new vrs seats seem a bit issue to me with quality. I can see a lot of warranty claims in this department I'd say they will go shabby quiet fast.

I really don't miss the regenes on the pd. cr is a much better set up!

That's interesting. Here 95% of all Octavia's are hatches so the opposite really It's a pity the new vrs isn't available in anthracite grey :( I do like the meteor tho.
