  1. Good call, are these all the same size or is there a different one for the 027 and the 096?
  2. I agree. Anyone ordered one from Aliexpress before? Do you have to pay by credit card or on PayPal?
  3. This is a REALLY good price, I paid more this week for the Varta equivalent!
  4. Yes although provisionally sold to Paul172sport. If the sale falls through I'll update this thread.
  5. I've just swapped my 027 battery for a 096 too. Fitted perfectly however like the op, the original 027 battery jacket did not fit. I'm undecided whether to order a 096 battery jacket, order the above battery box or leave as is.
  6. Thanks littleade for this straight forward simple guide. Saved me some valuable time this afternoon while I swapped over my battery.
  7. For sale is this Skoda Octavia mk2 vRS DSG gear plate. Straight forward swap for the pre-existing DSG gear plate. £15 posted
  8. Ok, I'll box and weigh and pm you a price. I normally use myHermes which are not usually too expensive.
  9. Skoda Fabia or Octavia vRS 12v socket bung. Suitable for any vehicle with a 12v socket really. £10 for rules sake but would prefer to swap for a normal standard 12v blank. South Birmingham or you send me yours with a stamp addressed envelope and I'll send you mine?
  10. For sale are these Skoda Octavia vRS mk2 floor mats in great condition. £15 collect from South Birmingham or can post at cost.
  11. Yes please. Absolutely no urgency though. Thanks.
  12. CWARD, if tomsimmons does not want your Thule foot pack and fixing kit, I would be interested. I have a pair of Thule roof bars from my old Octy estate, reading your post, I could use your foot pack and fixing kit and my old roof bars for my new (to me) Octy hatch? Thanks either way.
  13. Pm'd with an offer for the candy white touch up paint.
  14. I'd recognise her anywhere, I must have looked at your ad a fair few times, would have come to take a look but I hadn't sold my estate by then. I ended up selling my estate on here in the summer and buying a white hatch from another member on here shortly after.
  15. I see this is back up for sale on AutoTrader. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201708238626182?atmobcid=soc3
  16. I'd possibly be interested in the Xbox games.
  17. I had an OEM dog guard fitted to my mk2 estate and can assure you it needs no cutting or drilling. Just fits in to place and tightened up with an alum key. It is for sale in the for sale section if you are interested.
  18. This is what I thought but then thought surely it can't be that simple. Then again all the hard work has already been done. I have the mk3 with working buttons so I think I will take a punt. I have all the tools having swapped a mk2 non mfsw for a mk2 mfsw a few years back so should be fairly straight forward. Thanks both.
  19. I am considering a mk3 flat bottom steering wheel upgrade. The previous owner of my car already completed a standard mk3 steering wheel upgrade so I already have the right airbag and coding etc. Am I being naive in thinking all I have to do is purchase something like the below from ebay, swap over the buttons which should be already coded and then refit. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262100096217 Surely it can't be that simple right?
  20. Heat and dental floss worked a treat for me.
  21. Part cost £15ish from ebay. Eddie NL on here certainly knows his stuff!
