My VRS rear bumper needs replacing. Are the oem ones a bettter fit than pattern ones ?

Is there an accepted service life for injectors in a cr vrs diesel engine. At 150k my engines still running fine but i once changed a set of injectors in a diesel van i had which was also running okay, which transformed it. Shame about the cost though ?

Sounds like top end issue,if not injector maybe hydraulic tappet failed

What is the correct annual type oil (not long life) to use in a 2010 vrs disel

Apart from the 2.0 ltr petrol engine what other options work well ?

Ive found a small leak on my vrs fuel filter housing. Looks like corrosion has set in with age. Is this a known high milage fault ?

My Air con pump rattles when running. Its the origional pump to. Should i swap it out before it gets worse or live with it

Having not used one before i had result of no fault codes shown with the ignition on would other results shown if engine running ?

With regard to the OBD system would fault codes still be indicated even though the dash warning light not energised ?

Had my vrs 14 yrs now put 147k on the clock, still going strong. Sometimes wonder what other drivers think of an old diseal ?

Does my 2010 vrs have an OBD port ? Ive looked under the dash drivers side and dont seem to be able spot it.

What is the best method of access what components do u have to remove ?

I was looking at readjusting / Checking the gear linkage cables but looking under the bonnet there are a few things in the way of access. As i was only doing it as a check are these cables known to wear over time ?

Thats intresting mine alarmed up on a new garage fitted tire. A pressure check showed above approved pressure after a trip.

Does the octavia tire pressure monitoring system work on high pressure differential as well as low ?

No. To be honest it might be a case of driver technique As i do most of my driving in an mx5 which has a different clutch feel.

Its a 2010 diesel vrs 2ltr. Idle and running all okay.
