Man this is getting boring. Can people please provide some sort of evidence of what Skoda .uk and elsewhere (e.g; .dk, .de, .com) have stated with either screenshots, non self identifying emails, https links etc

Was it actually Openreach or one of their contractors? I'm in a couple of ex BT/ Openreach FB groups and the overwhelming majority of **** ups are made by the likes of Quinn's, Telent etc.

Niggle 1 Easy enough to replace the resistor - plenty of topics on it on this site. Just out of interest when was the aircon last regassed? Niggle 2 as mentioned you may get away with some conductive paint. Also, check the connection from main body to the tailgate inside the rubber boot.

I wonder if @J.R. would be interested in a cheap RHD Yeti as a parts donor/ project?

I think they put those tall poles up for them to nest on so they don't nest on the leccy pylons. They do like a room with a view!
