  1. Hi Guys Went to a rolling road day today at JKM Performance. My car is an 05 plate fabia vrs with a stage 1 remap on it. It came out at 164.8 bhp & 300lbs/ft. I was a bit frustrated the car only managed to get 164.8 bhp as it does seem quite low for horsepower. Anyone got any ideas? I was hoping for at least 170 bhp Cheers, Oli
  2. Excellent, all done it was the blue and black wire Many thanks
  3. Thanks for the replies, the kit is an aftermarket one Holmesie On the drivers side there are 6 wires: Red/black, Green/black, Blue/black, brown, purple/red, and grey/white. So surely I only need to wire into one of them? Or if so what one would I need to wire into for it to work?
  4. Hi Guys, I am in the process of fitting the parking sensors. I have to wire into the reverse light however what wire is that? (Or what colour?), there are 6 wires going into the cluster of 4 bulbs. Any help really appreciated! Thanks, Oli
  5. So no holes in the rear panel once badge is off? Also does anyone have a photo of the rear badge off on a standard-ish vrs?
  6. only thing i've noticed is round the oil cap is slightly moist, nothing that would cause a loss of oil level. Just topped oil up, in actual fact it's only taken around 150ml of oil out of a 1litre bottle. I thought it was going to be more.
  7. Hi Guys, My Fabia vRS mk1 had a service 2,000 miles ago. Oil level was at the top of the grid after service. Now the oil is below the grid on empty. Should the fabia be drinking this amount of oil in 2k miles? Picked up some more oil from the VW dealer and they were saying it's not normal. What are other peoples opinions on this? Oli
  8. When my vrs was standard I was just in front of a BMW 330D coupe off the lights
  9. Hey Mike, I may come along to this, would be good to chat to some local people and make some new friends Oli
  10. I've given JKM an email regarding getting a power run. Does anyone know if there are any power run days coming up at JKM?
  11. Thanks for the help chaps, I will look into them all and see what price I can get
  12. Thanks guys! I take it i probably wouldn't get a power run for less than £30?
  13. Hey Guys, i'm looking to get my Fabia vRS on the rolling road. Just wondering if anyone knows a cheap place I can get a power run done to see what power i'm running. I've looked at Regal autosport in Southampton which is £65 for power run, which I think is maybe too high (?) I want to be spending much less than that. Any answers would be brilliant Thanks Oli
  14. Many thanks, that's helped alot, my fabias pretty standard, silver with anthricate alloys so I don't think it will look right looking at that link you sent
  15. Thanks, It would just be the skoda badge to de-badge however if it requires filling and spraying then I will leave it ?
  16. Has anyone de-badged their Fabia vRS? Just wondering whether the badges are glued on, or dowelled on please?
  17. The remap will be done on dyno, and been estimated 170-180bhp and 290+ lb torque. I guess I leave it with them and see what they get. And if the pd160 doesn't give me any gain I will leave that and just go for normal stage 1 with everything else standard
  18. If I was to fit the pd160 intake, am i best to do that before then? Also when you say I probably won't see much of a gain are we talking 1-2bhp possibly?
  19. Hey Guys, I'm planning on going for a stage 1 remap through a Dub Unit specialist garage. My 05 fabia Vrs is completely standard, so will be expecting about 170bhp-180bhp. I would like to get as much as i can out of a stage 1, so if i can push 180-185bhp that would be better (risky i know). What else could i do to give me that extra bit of advantage on getting 180-185bhp? I don't want to be doing clutch, turbo etc, but is there anything cheap and easy like pd150 intake, or EGR delete or anything like that please? Thanks, Oli
  20. Thanks guys! I will give it a go when I get some time to and see how it goes!
