  1. It's not the engine oil temperature that burns off soot it's the exhaust temperature.
  2. Top of the list in a Bing search. https://www.snapon.com/diagnostics/uk/news-centre/technical-focus/dpf-hints-tips#:
  3. From the brochure. 2 wheel drive version. 4 wheel drive
  4. Smaller capacity's petrol engines have 7 speed dry clutch, diesels and 1.8 petrol have 6 speed wet clutch gearboxes. Apparently the 1.6 TDI had a dry 7 speed box but I've never seen one of those in a Yeti.
  5. Could be it goes into darker night mode when lights are on?
  6. That's not very helpful is it. The oil temperature will rise when the engine is working hard and they were just asking what would be the normal working range. Once up to temperature mine non towing goes between about 97 to 102 degrees, when in a DPF regen it rises about 3 degrees.
  7. I don't think a vest or umbrella were ever standard parts.
  8. Here is the fuse box locations I did a few years ago, folded and stored in fuse box. .
  9. The fuse pulling tool is on the back of the fuse box cover.
  10. I'm the one calling you out on stupid and dangerous comments, I knew you would not provide evidence that """the rating actually means the speed that the tyre can sustain for 600 seconds before suffering a catastrophic carcass failure """
  11. That is not was said earlier, for reference it said """the rating actually means the speed that the tyre can sustain for 600 seconds before suffering a catastrophic carcass failure """ Of course it will likely fail if above either rated load or speed, but should run safely continuously up to rated load or speed not as above for 600 seconds before suffering a catastrophic failure. There is a world of difference between those 2 comments.
  12. Post a shortcut to where it says ""the rating actually means the speed that the tyre can sustain for 600 seconds before suffering a catastrophic carcass failure ...""" I know I am not getting a sensible reply to that.
  13. In MFD Settings Convenience ATA Confirm
  14. That is the biggest and most dangerous load of crap I have ever heard, it is the highest speed the tyre can safely maintain within the load limits of the tyre.
  15. If you get 2 all season tyres I'd fit them to the back, could be very tail happy if fitted to the front in anything other than perfect driving conditions.
  16. The latest coolant specification is G13.
  17. My Fabia locked out cruise control when a vacuum pipe to the brake booster split.
  18. It happens now and again without anything getting trapped in the window.
  19. Would it be easier to remove if you separated the parts of (the socket and plug) that adapter?
  20. Close window, release switch then hold it up again for about 5 seconds.
  21. What make is it?
  22. Most cheap OBDII readers are just that, don't think many will go as far as resetting faults.
  23. On that notice? did you download the relevant manual/s?
  24. Urrell replied to kg1's topic in Skoda Yeti
