  1. This is the part that can break, come apart and wreck the bell-housing/gearbox.
  2. Could it be the distance between the fingers to flywheel face are similar on both Sachs and Luk.

Analogue gauge is water temperature digital is oil temperature that takes a lot longer to get up to temperature. You should be getting plenty of heat at that. Edit: does it make any difference if you turn A/C off?
  4. You'll only lose the time and trip mileages, all fault lights on startup will go out within a hundred yards or so.

When I asked how many clicks you could have said instead of skirting around the problem if you really want help here. What is a handbrake compensation arm?

So that old habit means you don't do it once to check the adjustment, no point in any further interest is there.

Google "Skoda emissions fix rollback" Edit: unit18.co.uk do it quite cheaply in Milton Keynes.

There are mapping places that do have access to the cars original map to reinstall.

Are you getting more than 2 or 3 clicks on the handbrake, if yes it may need the cable adjusting.
  10. My 2015 Elegance has a drawer only on passenger side.
  11. Enter the car VIN number into the link below and if it says action needed it has not been done. http://skoda-recallactions.skoda-auto.com/en?s=D&cd=1
  12. Mine is an Elegance City 2x4 model. With that having leather seats I suspect it's something like an SE + as I cannot see anybody paying £1800 extra for leather seats that on Elegance is a standard option. As others have said no Bi-Xenon lights or heated seats it's not an Elegance.
  13. Just for info, heated windscreen washer jets not standard but are an option that can be added when car is built, mine has them.
  14. That's a strange comment, without the cigarette socket adapter where else would you put it?
  15. For a first post I don't think a lot of it and you are the first I have used the ignore user button on. The spec of the cars you have in your profile and yet need to ask about speakers!

It is more important to regularly replace oil and filters on a car not doing many miles than one doing a lot higher miles up and down a motorway where the oil gets up to temperature to burn off the contaminants.
  17. The Skoda specifications brochure shows petrol (and diesel) Yeti's being EU6 from May 2015.
  18. What did they say about the damage?
  19. I had someone reverse into me years ago with what looked like just a couple of minor scratches, but removing the bumper most of the mounting points were smashed.

3000 miles on a 10+ year old car? Also it would help if you say if it's petrol or diesel and what engine it is. Do you have any fault lights up? How long since it last had a good run?
  21. Then it sounds like heater matrix replacement needed. Can you not detach heater hoses in engine compartment and reverse flush with hose?
  22. If it has happened after coolant system has been apart could it not be air-locked?
  23. Have you put the tow-bar in to see if that's OK?
