my plates are spaced incorrectly, reads F4B VR, and have never been pulled. They are also pressed metal plates. I asked a copper a few months back what his opinion on them was (e.g. would i get pulled, whats the fine, etc?) His responce was, you wont get pulled up as it is too much paperwork. Plus the plate is reflective, and it can be easily read (it is legal text, just got the space in the wrong place. I keep a set of legal pressed plates in the boot, and the details of the garage which supplied them, and the Bsau number are in a very light grey, so can be read if you look VERY carefully. Have done nearly 10k miles with the plates on, driven all over the country, and on the continent. and no ones has had a problem yet. Chris

I think your asking to much! I will swap you for a W reg Diesel 306 which I think is a good offer! On a serious note, it sounds a little over the top, as I paid £6k for mine (from a main VW dealer) which is a 06 reg with only 60k on back in june! But if you stick to your guns, you will get near the asking price, as its been well looked after. HTH

are costco also doing the free £40 fuel voucher too??? There seem to be alot of other places doing this, so also take this into account in the price!

Not used them, But seen the advert on telly! Its says in the text at the bottom that they guarentee to beat main dealer prices. I should hope so too, seen as they are using independent garages to do the work.

Original Audi Wheels are 5x112, and will not fit onto a fabia vrs. But most you see on none audi's are fakes, and alot you see will be in 5x100. I am changing my wheels this weekend to some bbs rims, so if that is the size you would be having, i would recommend tyres such as 205/35/17 as it is only 0.8% out, so shouldn't affect your speedo too much! Did everything as said up to part 3, I have gone into properties, found Universal serial bus controllers and if you expand that, there are 13 options, none of which say COM. right clicked on every single one, and can not find port settings. Can anybody help me, as I really want to do this, and am getting rather frustrated. Thanks

not sure how much the latest price is, but sure it was about £40 for my brother in law! I paid someone a tenner to do it for me, and it bought him a couple of beers! put a post on here, saying you need someone locally, and people will come too you, some do not charge, but i like to contribute to the local lads who help people out! (As I am one with VAG COM)

you need the SKC code, This should have come with the car, on a little plastic key which you open up, and then scratch off a panel to reveal the number! Then if you search on this website, there is a how to guide! If you havent got the SKC code, you need to either go to a dealer and take one for the team, or find someone with a program called VAG TACHO, and they can get you the code. HTH Chris

I have had 2 Octavia's and now on a Fabia VRs, I got my dad into Skoda's, he had a 1.4TDi Fabia and then Upgraded to a VRs. I also got my brother in law into them, he has a 1.9TDi PD100 Fabia. Would I buy another Skoda, YES!!! Am I going test driving the new Fabia VRs at the end of this month, YES!!! Am I going to talk the wife into letting me have one, NO CHANCE!!!

When I had a L&K, I tried to price up getting my alloys refurbed. No-one could match the colour! They told me they could get near, but it wouldnt be spot on. Needless to say, I never had them done!

I have seen quite a few 07 plate Vrs's driving round in the last couple of weeks! far more than you would expect for only 1027 suppose to of been registered!!!
