  1. nice one. i may add a few trees to the brisky forest. when its matured a bit, you can go and put some retro stickers on some trees, and install a "Brisky Cyclists" off road cycle track
  2. *goes to check the "cars breaking" section for new entries... on a serious note though, hope the lad is actually okay. be it a freak occurrence genuine accident (they do happen..) or incident which caused an over correction and thus... or, a classic "watch this".... "ohhhhh shhiiii...." moment of talent exceedence, it will still be an experience he wont forget for a long time. i know the mk1 furby has unfortunately reached that point where its a yoof accessible cheap performance hatchback, but its still sad to see another one end up gone.
  3. check the oil filler cap for "mayonaisse" too - that would indicate not good news. id wager the water pump though tbh. or a spilt pipe somewhere you cant see.
  4. or they could print an arrow and just "Inside" on the sides of the belt..
  5. as i was only out by a 30bhp difference, which is 1/14 of the actual engine output i get 92.14% of the points i also said Holden Commodore... then went to Maloo so as i was right then added an extra guess im claiming 80% of those points.
  6. holden Commadore? or a Maloo....
  7. okay @Lady Elanore ill be more specific.... Ford F150 Lightning
  8. if you focus your eyes juuusssst right, you see the wheel arch flare. its not a JGC...
  9. onto skomazs list, the missing one is.... its an F150 ??
  10. wtf does that have to do with a bike theft thread???
  11. couple of garden shots taken today with my samsing A20e. taken by my 5yr old, who asked to borrow my camera for a minute, after staring up into the burch for a few mins... look closely he got a decent shot of a fledging sitting on a branch
  12. it was an utterly lucky spot
  13. yeah, even with just 2 kids, i reckon my next change is going to be an estate... i remember going on honeymoon in 2013 though, and lying swmbo's and my suitcases and bags down in the boot of my mk1 octy. nothing else anywhere in the car. my sister dropped us to the airport so we could leave my car at hers. put the stuff into the boot of her ix35 - had to stand the cases up, and 1 carry on bag went in the back with me on the journey. her partner now husband was shocked when he saw the space difference was so obvious. they have a santa fe now and 2 kids. its wedged when they come down for a visit.
  14. ex insignia owner... bag of ****e that means i will never buy another Vx/opel vehicle. octavia swallows everything you can throw at it, but if you want a bit more leg room superb.
  15. right, my first dumb question is... if it looks like its to be used like a roundabout in terms of cycling, why does it need the cycle stopping boxes on the approaches?
  16. sorry, i never came back this! gearbox code is FMH - 02m series gearbox engine code ASZ oh and LUK or Sachs are what you want quality wise. and do the fly wheel and clutch together. dont do like some muppet who owned my previous insignia and only do the clutch, because youll end up, like me, replacing both again when the fly wheel dies.
  17. yup, needs a vcds plygin and the ecu to dash needs to be coded to say hello properly same thing happens if you replace the instrument cluster.
  18. hi and welcome. hold onto that fellah, hes clearly pretty smart if the first thing he recommended was joining here if you check the classifieds, theres some listed there, and also plenty buying advice on what to look out for etc if you read some of the guides and stuff
  19. @devonutopia id also a member here, so can direct pm him and ask
  20. have a look in the classified for cars breaking 👍
  21. engine code is on the chassis sticker in the service book and also under the boot carpet. itl be near the top, AGR or ASV something along those lines. gearbox is too, but i cant remember where.
  22. morning, whats your engine and gearbox code?
  23. i had to sit on the side of a motorway one day and kick the **** out of the wheel on my insignia after a puncture. its the galvanic reaction btween the alloy and the hub/brake disc causes it. my tyre guy says its constant with them.
