  1. I let my kids watch Button Moon on a very special occasion...
  2. Do you have the rear interior light available?
  3. You wait for this chap to take over...
  4. Bit of road rage this morning. Two lanes into one. Right hand merges into left. I'm in the left hand lane. Near the end it merges and there is usually traffic. As we slow down, a battered old focus is speeding up the right hand side. I don't let her in, as she had plenty of room behind me to pull in. She starts beeping like a maniac multiple times. She was the one trying to push in. I'm sorry but I have no time for people like that, if there was lots of queueing traffic in both lanes then I would have let her in, but do speed in the outside lane just to get to the front is very selfish. Rant over.
  5. I would have hugged him like a big hairy bear.
  6. If it was me, I would have let him in. Then when the traffic stopped, I would get out, knock on his window, shake his hand and congratulate him on what an 'excellent' driver he was. Oh, and that he achieved so much in overtaking two cars.
  7. Man that is god damn awful news. Thoughts are with you. Was she fit and healthy before. It sounds like it was very sudden.
  8. Another vote for recaro. Just made so well and last.
  9. Our solicitors are asking them to provide a report. We'll see what happens. They will probably tell us to 'do one' and refuse, but hey worth trying.
  10. Samknows is a good website to use and see what services are available,
  11. Use Tron. This will get rid of all nasties. Really good piece of software. Download it from the right hand side. Start Windows in Safe mode with networking. https://www.reddit.com/r/TronScript
  12. They find the agreed price 'reasonable'. wtf does that mean!!
  13. Thanks all. So basically we paid £200 for a piece of paper stating there could be a problem, or there might not be...
  14. We are looking at purchasing a 1960's/70's house. We have just had our buyers report back, and one thing that sticks out is the possibility of 'wood worm'. The surveyor says he couldn't see any but due to the age of the property it could be a possibility of some. He couldn't check. It says we should budget for future treatment, but should get a timber report before exchange of contracts. Now this is the catch 22. We need to move quickly, as in this month. Do we raise this with the vendor, or just proceed and take the risk? A full building survey will cost around £1000 which we do not have. We really do not know what to do.
  15. We want to get a labradoodle. We have two young kids under 5, and both work. One full time, and the mrs part time. We would obviously take time off to look after the pup for a few weeks. Any advice? Any recommendations on breeders in the south west of the UK?
  16. Only a few people have flashed. A lot of xenon's are really bright on newer cars. If the lights are legal what can you do?
  17. Gonna have to check my dash cam footage tomorrow.
  18. They do look higher, and certainly are brighter, but hey if they get through the MOT there's no complaints from me!
  19. Car went through MOT today with no advisories so not sure what the flashes were about!!
  20. Put through its MOT today. Two new tyres bought before hand. Some Yokohama's C drives. No advisories. I thought the headlights were too high but obviously not!
  21. I wonder who would be in the wrong in court. A driver in Lane 1 maintaining a safe and constant speed who undertakes, or a driver in Lane 2 driving slower and, imo, more dangerously.
  22. Have you contacted the garage? You should have a 14 day period of satisfaction after buying where any issues should be resolved.
