  1. Where are the figures advertised other than from the WLTP? You will be driving differently from a WLTP regime in different ambient temperatures.
  2. Dealerships skip Haldex Oil changes, Brake Fluid Changes, DSG Oil changes all the time. It is for the Car owner / Keeper to pay for what they want done. There is no guarantee they will know what needs doing or get told what should be. They might get told brakes are 80% worn or the AC Service is every 2 years. A Skoda Approved Used Car with a FMDSH does not mean serviced as per Recommendations, Guidelines or Schedule, or service items done before a dealership sell you the car.
  3. I did not even know the car had this. I just use the switch for the camera. Will try it tomorrow.
  4. They temp in an EV gets turned up to 25 or 28 or what ever and it only needs that for 2 minutes or so, then down to 18. If full outdoor gear on down to 16*oC. I watched this the other day and wondered WTF with his 3 lights on heated seat, was it just to show. 1st setting and my ars3 is burning. AC surely not needed. (He has a Vid disagreeing with Harry (Harry's garage on EV,s but not posting.)
  5. @Stonekeeper The Original 17" with TPMS sensors and the winters on 16" without £155 worth of sensors in. They are a PITA. (There are sets for £50 but i was not putting them in.)
  6. There is a Video's on the Motorsport Prepared ZOE, Corsa & MINI & E-Racers showing the safety features, cut offs etc required and warnings etc for Marshals
  7. The wheels could go in the back of the car and all would be well.
  8. Yes on the rims and wheels i took off. Ready for when they go back on the car.
  9. ^^^ Probably you can do it blind folded.
  10. ^^^ I know. The Corsa Electric kept going back to factory settings, locked me out, did software updates or reversed ones that had been done and wiped miles off the car. Amazing technology. Also the gear selector failed. I can still trace where the car is as never managed to get rid of My Vauxhall app even though they said it expired. PS. Some EV,s can have the miles covered altered just like you can change with an e-Bike. Change in the software the wheel diameter setting.
  11. RAC not contacted me yet from the over air data on my MINI to tell me of the TPMS fault which i cancel each time i turn on the car. Because i have no sensor valves in the wheels.
  12. ^^^ No the driver of the MG EV that you put a quote from me. I said no damage to the front.
  13. They said he had to drive into the back of a police van. After throwing the key from his car into a police car.
  14. They stopped it safely just as happened with the MG EV. It did not even appear to have damage to the front...
  15. Was it an £80,000 I-Pace when bought new?
  16. Just some of the threads covering the same recall.
  17. They best get the safety features sorted out before the Electric HGV,s hit the UK roads singularly or in convoy. I imagine that they have already addressed that in Norway. They will have numbers for how many runaway out of the driver control EV,s there have been.
  18. A Majority is only one more than a minority. But i get your point, you have your opinions and set ideas. Maybe wrong and maybe right, it must by one or the other. Anyway. Someone will be compiling statistics of reported faults, maybe the DVSA in the UK..
  19. All fiction. Never happened, can not happen. Someone here knows about such things.
  20. @xman OK, if you say so.
  21. Anyway, how many run away EV,s have we in the UK so far compared to oldies flooring the accelerator while parking? That really gets scary when more and more that should not have a licence are driving EV,s Sh-!t happens.
  22. @xman Have you driven with the latest DSG shifters?
  23. Electric failures. Signals to ECU,s. Off switch not operable. Key Less entry. etc. The accelerators are Fly by wire. No throttle cable. There are Mild Hybrids, soon almost all ICE vehicles with be Mild Hybrid before 2035.
  24. Once there are more incidents then there might really be a need for more SAFETY as in a CUT OFF device. By then the Self Drive Vehicles will be on the roads and they will need to have a Radio Control system / Cut out roadside like has already been talked about for years to slow down / stop vehicles. Just like Karts at an indoor Karting Track. There has been talk for a decade now about people hacking into cars while moving and taking control of them remotely, and that can happen with EV,s. Then this...
