  1. 1,320 miles for £59.16 I forgot £8.00 on my house electric. £67.16 total charging cost. 6,716 pence divided by 1,320 = 5.08 pence a mile. Car costs £71 a week to lease. Advance payment was £1,000 because it was in the showroom and specced for that. Motability paid me £750 to order a new car and £250 good condition payment. Last year they paid in advance £350 good condition payment. .................. Past 5 months CPS account. £60 paid that was used, sometimes charging does not register and get billed or show as used & this unbilled outstanding but some of that £39.16 will be actually free charging & not due. Plenty Cable length & Dundee charging hub. No toilets though.
  2. 1,320 miles covered since getting new on the 10th August and 314 kWh of charging showing since i got it with a full battery and it is charged to 99% now. That is about 4.2 miles a kWh i have been getting then. Total spend on charging. £39.16 on my Charge Place Scotland account at tariffs of 35 pence, 42 or 47 pence, lots of free charging at some and at PodPoint. £20 paid at Podpoints @ 66 pence a kWh or Instavolt @ 75 pence a kWh.
  3. The Tyres from the factory can be from any of 4 or 5 manufacturers. They are just what is supplied in the bulk and being used on the production line at any time. Fitted to Wheels and ready to go on cars.
  4. Who confirmed it then and which Skoda can not give a confirmed build date. UK or CZ or a dealership?
  5. It shows D because you have 'Coasting' enabled and you are indeed 'coasting'. The gears are disengaged until you touch the accelerator or brake pedal or the road is steep enough. There must surely be a bit in the Owners Manual telling you.
  6. If it was done for you and paid by you as in you owned the car then have them sort it, their poorly carried out job if it is the sump plug causing the leak.
  7. They have replaced enough Twincharger engine over the past 12 years. They really are very very poor at what they do as a day in day out job.
  8. You need the right oil. As to the consumption test, plenty threads here on that, and the fiasco,s. The recommended grade from day 1 of Fabia Mk2 is VW504 00 / 507 00 which is 5w 30 FS III (long life oil.) That can be 0w 30 FS III if you wanted. My recommendation which is the Fixed service oil is VW 502 00, 5w 40 FS oil, For less chance of Twincharger oil issues. There is only an official Oil Consumption test which is hopeless. New oil & Filter, Dropped, weighed & then driven 100 km & dropped and weighed. There are even idiots that got the oil weight wrong and have it at 1,000 grams a litre and not 856 grams. MARSHALS SKODA made a mistake. They need to sort that. Do you have the car / engine history. Warranty history. Is it the original engine, has it had an oil consumption test before, has itb had the Oil Spray jets replaced, etc etc.? This is a CAVE not a CTHE, no matter,. The thread of many pages is pinned up top. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/467547-cave-engine-sudden-increase-in-oil-consumption-but-has-perfect-compression http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/339194-oil-consuption-test-part-1 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/463296-excessive-oil-use-vrs-mk2
  9. Fingers crossed someone never cross threaded or stripped the threads and then glued it in. This might be your worst nightmare when you go to nip it up a bit and you end up with the oil out and the plug out and your car going no place. If you can not get it on a ramp and where it can be repaired if needed i would 'Suck the oil out via the dipstick tube', with a pump. Then remove the plug. Or tweak it up. Likely needs replaced and as it is the oil is low enough i would be doing an oil change, and filter and a sump plug.
  10. @jonnieboi82 That was very wrong. I would do an Oil & Filter change. I would have whoever did the service and used that do it for free or refund you to have the oil changed. That was VW508 00 / 509 00 that will have been used. 0w 20 FS IV For the engines for the WLTP coming. The 1.0 TSI 3 cylinder with a gpf & from 2018. This says 2015 but they were not using it then and it is not backward compatible.
  11. Use a search engine or Briskoda search engine and key words. briskoda all in one You should find the very recent threads and the older ones from when the All in one plan was introduced and peoples experiences or opinions.
  12. @luckylukeWelcome. Why can you not just ditch the plastic engine cover?
  13. Spoils the look of their Cherished Registration.
  14. Picture heavy. A run to Braemar from home in ideal conditions just to see and then compare for when weather is 10*c lower and then down another 10*c. Then i will need to go a different route and charge in 20 miles and then do the next 34.5 miles to be sure to have enough range & incase i need a 7 kW charger or even a 3 pin charge.
  15. Correct. Because the VW504 00 is what the TSI requires, but you could use VW502 00 fixed service. the TDI,s need VW507 00. Hand that it is the same spec.
  16. Next charger 34 miles later just to be sure of enough for tonight and tomorrow and used 20% of the small battery. 5.1 miles / kWh. First charger failed to start but there is a 2nd rapid and then Podpoint in town so all well. Just need to watch to the front and rear for motorbikes and everyplace and every junction for anything. The place is hoachin. Not so many Green Flash number plates. But then Tesla's seem not to have them. Unless a hire car.
  17. Well no issues. 3.9 miles to the kWh up to Braemar. Scorchio. Roads full of motor bikes and camper vans and the car parking mobbed. Roadside every space. Straight on to the rapid in Braemar. Works fine but a blank screen but I know this type of charger well so do not need the screen, I know the beeps, and how to use. I will fill to 99%. I will have about 120 mile range in this weather in Sport and AC used. Downhill to get back home later and cheaper or free charging back in Perthshire or Angus. 47 pence a kWh in Aberdeenshire. Pictures later. Best driving roads possibly 'in the World'. MINI kept up with the bikes downhill and regenning. Issue was the All Seasons on the grippy road and the high road temp in the sun. NSL is 60 anyway. .. PS. Edit. That was quick. At 99% and off to play. Need to watch the Taycan and Polestar that seem to think the while road is there and you need to dive onto the verge or in a ditch because no way are the slowing down. Well they find out sometimes they need to or they have a long reverse to do.
  18. Heading off for Ballater. Going across to the A93 and to Braemar. 5 charge points and 4 showing out of order on 5 different sites / apps and just a 22 kW ac showing as available. The CCS / DC has been out of order for weeks. It is actually an 7 kW and might not be working either. There is 7 kW charging in Ballater if working, Does not show on some of the apps. 6 Charge points in Aboyne and showing 5 available and 2 are Rapids if they actually work. That is how it is for tourists, locals or those trying to travel in the southern Cairngorms / Royal Deeside area, dire. Best arrive with plenty charge coming from South and Blairgowrie, south & east and Alyth or Kirriemuir, or East from Aberdeen, North and Grantown on Spey /Tomintoul way.
  19. So no service book just as it has been for years, and without a Print Out no record in your hands. It is online. You want the On-line record. Could you let us / me know what your service screen shows so that there is an idea if the Service Regime was changed at the PDI from Variable. If on Variable it is 2 years before a service due, but nothing stops you having an Oil change or servicing before that, and you doing what you want. Having the Service Record in paper and on the System is important. If you own the car and it is a keeper then no matter, the local garage might mean they know exactly what needs doing and that might be more than any Main Dealers does, or the work they do. *3 years / 30,000 miles until the Haldex Service, ask the local garage about them doing that when the time comes. That is something a visit to Inverness or Perth or Maud might be worth doing and getting a 2 year Parts and Labour cover. Getting an extended warranty & it being valid on the car if a keeper does need the record of the cars servicing to Manufacturers Guidelines, Recommendations, Specification / Schedule.*
  20. Good. No issue if they know how to service cars and they surely must. ? Where was the PDI done before the car came to you? *Best look see what the service indicator is counting down, miles and days. Oil Service and is it showing Inspection.?* Ask your local garage if they can reset the Service Indicator. eg http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/516194-oil-change-or-service
  21. Do they have the licensed equipment. Can they check for any TPI,s / Software enhacements and do the work & also put the Service Record on the system, also do the Paint / Body inspection for the Paint & Corrosion Warranty and put that on the system? Can they do Warranty Work or will it be Inverness you need that done at?
