How much time do you warm-up your Felicia?

Recalled Again - software
@snealAt what point this year did the Octavia Mk4 stop being Skoda's best selling car, or most produced and delivered and first registered? Is it just in the 2nd half of 2021.

Battery warning on the Keyfob runs out
So what brand of battery did you remove? Some batteries just expire. One day fine and next dead. No power. Just as happens in other battery powered items. Some warm up and get a long life and the energy drops, others die. Like the type that power a bunny longer.

Greece gets different Gasoline formulations for Summer & Winter like most countries / world regions where there are seasons of the year with changes in ambient temperatures that affect the volatility of fuel. Fuel are delivered from around the world. Winter gasoline is less hygroscopic. Fuel quality in the EU in 2016.pdf

Moving On
Tell who please, Parks, Arnold Clark, West End or Henrys? Any can do exactly the same thing and each and every time the employees act as though it is the first they have done it.

Moving On
But they all arrive on Variable / Flexible so 24 months / 18,000 -24,000 miles interval before the First Oil & Filter Inspection Service will Appear. (& oddly the Inspection Service might be there showing in 12 months, which confuses things) But at a PDI's some chancers reset the Service Interval for Fixed Servicing @ Fixed so 372 days / 9,600 miles without asking the new owner if they want that. Some will say because there is a service plan and so needs to be on fixed. They never say because they like to get more custom. Then there are those that do not reset to Fixed bit leave the Inspection service still in 12 months time. Pity there are the idiots on Service Desks that know what their Workshop Staff do or do not know. Oddly they are full time employees that deal with dozens of customers in a week and still never know anything.

Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring
Hopefully all settled now then after reset and registering with the car. It should be in the Owners Manual as 'Robert the Bruce and the Spider TPMS reset'. If at first it does not set, try, try and try again.

Initial thoughts on my superchips remap
^^^ Strange one there IMO & IME. Planting in a higher gear in a DQ200 Twin Dry clutch DSG will have it accelerate or drop a gear or 2 and accelerate. The Max BHP / Nm will occur at the RPM that the Remap was written to. I did not understand the OP's mention of 1.8TSI's in the VW / Audi Range. They only had the DQ200 DSG fitted with 180 PS max until the Polo GTI with 192 PS and still only 250 Nm. The VW, Audi, Skoda, Seats with 1.8TSI's other than on the Polo were 150 ps or 180 ps and 185 lb/ft / 250 Nm max from the factory. That was the max power / torque VW rated them to, even though they were fine with more power as we know. Except many were not, then there are the standard ones that needed the Service Campaign Actions. Clutch Upgrade and Software changes. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/439395-the-story-of-the-famous-dq200-clutch-slip/page/15

Initial thoughts on my superchips remap
@Doctor_Strange I ran 1.4 TSI Twinchargers with over 300 Nm with Stage 1 & stage 2. The box standard dealt with this but was better with uprated clutches & software when actually being booted and doing standing starts on the 1/4 miles. https://jbsautodesigns.co.uk/product/5114/jbs-dsg-stage-1-7-speed-dq200 http://clptuning.co.uk/product/tvs-engineering-dsg-software-dq200/

Initial thoughts on my superchips remap
@Doctor_Strange Which firm told you that about the DQ200 DSG? Superchips are quoting a good Nm figure there from their Remap. It would be good to get the car on a Dyno. On 1.4 TSI / TFSI Twinchargers with 180ps-185 ps as standard and 250 Nm a stage one could give 205-210 ps and 320 Nm or so and the DQ 200 was OK with that. As long as you had a good DQ200 that is. When VW did the 2015 1.8TSI Polo GTI it had 292 ps but the manual got 320Nm and the DSG which was a DQ200 only 250 Nm.

EV real world range and cost to charge
Great having the range to do a trip like this without charging and options to charge if you want. The £3.80 CPS charging is great in Moray, it is a shame that so many are greedy about how long they leave there cars on them when they are local and only doing so to save paying at home. If they stuck to just 60 minutes max at a time if they are abandoning the car and looking back to see if others want a charge it would be nice.

Much more money but could be a keeper for business and private users needing an offroader / work vehicle and i would think better than a new Defender.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
The GPF's were fitted first to 1.0 TSI Mk3 Fabia from June 2018. In the Fabia Mk3 there were discussions / posts earliest on them and 'Experts / Insiders; saying there would be no issues. They were clearly wrong as there were members that had odd behaviours and posted about them on Briskoda. VW are not that open on discussing the cost to replace GPF'. The time will come when they will need to. As others models had to be ready for the WLTP / RDE and certification all TSI engines were fitted with GPF's for sale in the EU countries. As i understand it but could be wrong. The cars that were bunkered and delayed for exportation and importation or any First Registered from that time will have a GPF. Unless they were the pre Euro 6 Temp or Euro 6 d like ones that were under the rules letting run out models to be produced. MY19 230 /245 ps has the GPF (OPF) to meet Emission EU6.2 AG.

New used Yeti owner, haldex spin on launch?
Pre-emptive but not Darren Brown / Mind reader, and not using the Ground Temperature, barometer, cameras / radar or GPS. So has no idea that as a driver starts the car they are away to just floor the throttle to move off with a bit of angle on the steering and ditch finder or little better than that tyres.

Warning lights
Re Exhaust management lights, and EPC lights. Used cars at Dealers or Auctions are getting started occasionally, ran a few minutes, getting sooted up plugs maybe, getting flat batteries. Generally in need of a bit of care and loving and once warm an Italian Tune Up. *** Do not be surprised if then there are mis-fires, blasts of soot out the tail pipe, warning lights or fault codes stored.*** Some cars during lock down have sat a long time with oil and fuel that is maybe not the best now. **Anyone buying a Used car or even a Ex Management Car / Demonstrator that has sat unsold for a while needs to remember.** A Petrol car might have E5 Unleaded or Super Unleaded in from Pre September. Or E10 from September to October which was the Summer Formulation or Super Unleaded E5 that was Summer Formulation. These are more hygroscopic. Winter spec started arriving in Mid October in Scotland and the North of England. With Diesels with fuel in from before December than it is again Winter Spec and does not include the Anti-Waxing additive.

Free wheel alignment checks
Free check are fine and paying for a trained and competent technician with all the gear and more than ideas to adjust is great. Ones that know the correct numbers for the settings. Free adjustment and no invoice / receipt or money in the tea tin is a job carried out without Insurance / guarantee or signature from whoever and hence no comeback. Go to proper places with alignment equipment with trained people. Not just tracking checks by a 'fitter' who might have no experience or qualified / trained supervisor.

Warning lights
So that means Look & check the terminals and see if tight. Then pick up phone and call the Dealer that sold you it and see if they are going to look at the car when you arrive with it, or they want to send out their technician or if a Skoda Approved Used Car from a Main Dealer Skoda Assist. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/500110-petrol-octane
