What to do with Ford Ka damaged by hit and run
ric04vrs replied to Xavier's topic in General Automotive Chat
The top scrap offer I had for my wife's MOT'd 02 Ka was £54, lowest was £6, sold it on eBay for £135, less £10 to list, less £20 minimum final fee, so £105, better than scrapping it, plus the bloke came round, handed over cash and drove it away -

Possible find it next too the front engine mounting O/S inner wing area -
Getting my head round this a bit now, Speaking to RossTech now on their forum, done an autoscan, and posted it for Uwe to have a look
-
FYI, I never had any issues using a genuine micro-CAN lead with an earlier version of VCDS on this vehicle 11 plate Superb combi
-
Done a reinstall of VCDS, still the same, I suspect it's something to do with a line of code in their software, so it looks like I'm gonna have to send my scans to them
-
Yes
-
Not sure what is meant by "autoscan" Do you mean the list of controllers and all codes that come up ? I've saved something as when it says on the screen About the missing .ROD file and that I need to send it to RossTech
-
Latest version being used, 16.8, downloaded to update from 15.4 yesterday evening,
-
ALSO get no comms with radio, even though radio is working
-
I get Unable to find a .ROD file for : SK_RNS310 A02007 (SK46)
-
Yep, genuine lead, the only thing I've not done yet is register it yet as I had still had the valid licence from my other micro-CAN lead on my laptop, I assume I need to get rid of this first before I continue trying to update the new lead
-
No idea how to do that
-
Never had an issue reading all control modules with a previous VCDS version I was using, 15.4 ?, but when I was trying out my new HEX-CAN lead, it asked me to update the VCDS software as well
-
I have a problem though, not sure if it's the latest version of VCDS or my car, but there's an issue reading the Navigation module, something about unable to read or a missing .ROD file, I didn't get chance to send the scan to Rosstech though, will try again tomorrow
-
Yes it's a RNS 310, it's just that I'm not sure which module or controller it is in though
-
Nope, off the disc, my car is an ex-Skoda demo car I believe, and the eject button has been disabled so no one could remove the disc
-
I've got a new sat nav map disc, but i need to enable the eject button to remove the old disc, i have done it before, but I've forgotten how to do it, so which controller is it in please ? do i need the sercurity code ? if so what is it please ? TIA Rich

Skoda Fabia 3 2010 Air Con problem.
ric04vrs replied to allan1066's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
My wife's 63 plate Ibiza Toca has the same problem, no air con, switch lights up, full gas in system etc, it's just spent three hours in the hands of a Seat mastertech today, and he couldn't find out what's wrong with it, they want it for three days to strip it down, not good Might try a pressure sensor myself, but it's still under warranty
