  1. Just done an 18k service on a Volvo S60 with these tyres fitted, worn almost smooth on very inside edge of both front tyres, rest of tread at 5mm, I'm guessing it won't be long before the cords are showing on these, nothing on the car suggests that the alignment is massively out though, Maybe the tyre carcass isn't up to the job on the inner edges ? Hence your sawtoothing Sent from Richies iPad
  2. iirc the 3M kit last sanding disc is 3000 grit Sent from Richies iPad
  3. Unusual, but not unheard of on the front, suspension and geo check probably all that's needed, but those tyres will always be sawtoothed, so you might have to put up with the noise until they require renewal, What make of tyres are they ? Sent from Richies iPad
  4. Saw TW08 OYS, obviously supposed to be TWO BOYS Sent from Richies iPad
  5. Yes, if the tyre had enough of a whack to require renewal, then I'd say the bearing could be damaged Sent from Richies iPad
  6. What tyres did you fit ? Some are rubbish and wear so quickly on the inner edges it's unreal, Also could have a very bad tracking issue there, plus you need to get those tyres changed as a matter of urgency as they are now illegal and dangerous Sent from Richies iPad
  7. I've seen one fitted to a Mazda 323 diesel a few years back, don't really see the point in it IMO Sent from Richies iPad
  8. Don't mention anything to the dealer, just book it in, obviously if the door locking problem is something to do with the repair that's been carried out, then they might say it's not warranty, otherwise keep stum Could be a door latch or wiring issue, and other than cat D do you know what's been repaired ? Could it have had a bang on one of the wheels ? Enough to cause a noisy bearing ? Sent from Richies iPad
  9. It shouldn't matter as it's just a switch making a contact, it'll do the same whichever way round you join them Sent from Richies iPad
  10. Possibly the surface of the flywheel is not flat, which will make the area for the clutch disc to apply pressure smaller, therefore easier clutch slip, seen it loads on clutch pressure plates, and a few times on flywheels, box out to check, but then you're going to have to do that anyway Sent from Richies iPad
  11. Looks to be quite a few changes to the internals of the unit Sent from Richies iPad
  12. Check the small vacuum hose that's attached to the brake servo pipe next to the vacuum pump, they snap there, but look like they are ok Sent from Richies iPad
  13. Seen R1 LED on the M56 eastbound earlier Sent from Richies iPad
  14. I think it's plug and play Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=p2112%20fault%20code&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CA4QFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.tdiclub.com%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D321641&ei=bocLVKfuCcXdOdv_gfAI&usg=AFQjCNE5LDWYuEZg9X-2vit2VEUDmF1y6A Looks like you'll need to replace the throttle valve/anti-shudder valve, or at least take it off for cleaning, from what I've just read this fault can stop DPF regeneration, so beware of excess soot build up before having it fixed Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. My front buckles already have felt tape wrapped around them, not sure when this was done though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Bonkers, I'm not sure if I could actually see any sort of course, I know there must of been Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Lupo all day long, Puma just feels horrible inside IMO
  19. The plug for the ABS sensor wire in the picture will plug into the main loom of the car, the problem will most likely be in that main loom, somewhere around the N/S/F inner wing area Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Check the wiring to the ABS module, they can corrode on the N/S inner wing Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
