Hi, We use a Huawei mobile WiFi in our touring caravan. It has its own built in battery as well as a 12 volt socket & also an Arial socket ( with Arial ) while it has always found a signal in some remote villages ( and some not so remote-- ) we have been reduced to Emails only. The unit is unlocked so its possible to use any sim card ( we use EE ) The self contained battery lasts for a few hours so the unit can be placed where convenient.We bought it on -yes- fleabay ! Our unit has a transmitting range of around 25ft.

Hi, Just had Email from dealer telling us that our car is now sunbathing on the dock side at Emden . Took a week from leaving the production line to get to Emden-- must have pushed it by hand !

Hi, Regarding frequency, if the transmitter ( police car/taxi/ emergency vehicle ) was passing its possible for the transmitter to "swamp" the receiver & if the receiver works on a frequency thats a harmonic of the transmitter------------ This would explain why its intermittent.

Hi, For what its worth- I fly model aircraft, we use the high frequency sets and have had trouble with ( in a few places ) interference from micro wave links, military transmissions & transmissions from other sources ( factory's/Taxi's ) Not knowing what frequency the fob works it could be theirs nothing wrong with the tail gate--- it was a passing taxi/gas board van/police car that triggered it off !

Just imagine the waiting time if they did get over their Skoda badge problem..................

​Two friends of ours decided to change their car & opted for a Hyundi . Visit to dealer they spected some extras & color . dealer looked at whats in stock/ available-- found right car ,right colour with most of the requested items fitted. Not to worry dealer said can fit them. so 3 weeks later they are driving a new car, us ? 18 weeks on still waiting.................... P.S. - however good the car is i will do my best to put people off after this !

Why would i need anything else---- quicker delivery would be nice......................

Hi, It has been posted on here that people have received Email from factory saying- Your car has entered ( perhaps they mean LEFT ) the factory. Our dealer Emailed last week ( tue ) to say the car was built and in transit to Emden. Thing is nothing from factory/SUK any one else experienced this ?
