Cars with nice backdrops...
- New Satnav map available (week 48/2024)
The update process is cumbersome and there is no indication of installation progress . Last time I left a memory stick containing the unzipped data plugged in for a few days and only became aware it was done when the version information changed after a few days. Takes an eternity to download and subsequently unzip!- New Satnav map available (week 48/2024)
I last updated mine around 6 months ago and the current Navigation database is showing as 24.8. The car had 1 year online map update from delivery, although I let that lapse when the car was one year old (March 2024).- New Satnav map available (week 48/2024)
There is no SD card slot - the update takes place through one of the USB C ports 👍- New Satnav map available (week 48/2024)

Related to the receiver in the car? Hopefully remains under warranty?- Dash/cockpit rattling
Seems to be the case 😬- Dash/cockpit rattling
And additionally a replacement steering motor in the first few days of ownership (of a brand new car), a variety of front suspension noises (which have have proved impossible to resolve despite numerous workshop visits), a cabin full of rattles and a squeeky drivers door (which has proved impossible to resolve). Oh and the rear seat head rests rattle unless pushed fully down - took me a while to track that one down! On the plus side it's proved to be pleasingly economical over 31k miles, although I suspect I'll look outside the VAG for my next car. I miss my Yeti, which was a capable, characterful and dependable car🙁- Dash/cockpit rattling
Wish that was the case with mine 🙁- Extortionate fees at Skoda dealership
Hi and welcome to the forum. A colleague at work has a 5 year old Karoq which suffered with the 'Kangaroo' issue and was subsequently fixed with the aforementioned ECU update. I must admit I was under the impression the 'Kangaroo' issue with the 1.5 TSi had been fully resolved by 2021 and wonder if your issue may relate to the well documented drivability problems which appear to impact some (although not all) 1.5 manual Karoq's? I sincerely hope you get the issues resolved🤞 More here :- Photography Thread
